Reviews

    • “The cottage was great - spacious, well-kitted out, nicely decorated and with access to the Maenporth Estate facilities. We used the pool every day and went to the beach most days too. I had a nice chat with the owner a few days before our stay and she gave me some useful pointers about good places to visit. There is a lot to do nearby. Not necessarily for publishing: the only slight difficulty I had was getting laundry dry as the weather was quite wet while we were there and the washer-drier has been replaced with a drier. Things did eventually dry on the airer in the conservatory, but it was a bit tricky with a full load of washing plus all our swimming things. A minor niggle. It would be an even more brilliant place if the Maenporth Estate leisure centre could also arrange babysitting, and maybe also offer some basic beauty treatments, in addition to its existing useful services. Any chance of getting that feedback through?”

    Mrs Gauterin, STONEHOUSE, August 2018

    • “Ideal base for a holiday in Cornwall. We really enjoyed our stay at Duck Bay which was very comfortable and had everything we needed especially Wifi for two teenagers. A nice wee touch was the welcome pack of Cornish tea and biscuits and a pint of milk, great after a long drive. The facilities on the Maenporth estate were very good with staff being friendly and cheerful.”

    Mr Sinclair, Duns, July 2018

    • “We have stayed at Maenporth before but in different accommodation. We absolutely loved this cottage as it had everything we needed, but with all the extra comfort of home, lots of books, games even blankets for chilly evenings! The welcome supplies on arrival were also much appreciated. It was clear that every effort had gone into making both a comfortable home and to ensure that guests have everything they need. We really loved and will be sure to book again, thank you so much.”

    Mrs Smith, TAUNTON, June 2018
