    • “I’m giving positive feedback for the quality of the let, it was great. But you’re questionnaire, even though you are just agents, seems to want to take credit for that. I would recommend the venue and the owner, whereas Sykes? Dunno, only used you once.”

    Dr Williams, Crediton, September 2018

    • “Wow what a wonderful peaceful and relaxing place, it was perfect and every bit as good as it said in the brochure, in fact better! The fittings were of a very high quality. I feel in love with the Shepherd Hut and the location and will most certainly return.”

    Ms Caro, Winchelsea, September 2018

    • “Helpful friendly owners Met with a bunch of flowers, prosecco and a hand written card which was such a lovely touch Everything spotlessly clean Crockery bedding towels etc were of excellent standard Fire pit near the hut which we used and cooked the most delicious chicken!!!”

    Miss Cunningham, Norwich, September 2018

    • “The industrial history and related geology right outside the hut, and in the surrounding the area, was unexpected and fascinating. With respect to the accommodation, it was 5 star in miniature - simply brilliant.”

    Mrs Shadbolt, Oxford, September 2018

    • “perfect in everyway peaceful surroundings excellent facilities nick and Karen are lovely people and we had a wonderful welcome with flowers lovely card and a bottle pf prosecco what a wonderful start to our holiday the bed is so comfortable if you need to get away it is the perfect place a piece of heaven thank you Shirley steven johnson”

    Mrs Johnson, Sheffield, August 2018

    • “A totally perfect place to stay The shepherds hut was just fantastic will definately go again”

    Mr Warren, Southampton, August 2018

    • “A wonderful secluded area with the forest right on your doorstep! Wonderful hosts and a cozy setting, absolutely wonderful for our holiday, and with Tavistock and other wonderful towns only down the road there were still lots of things to do when not roasting marsh mellows on the fire or watching the local wildlife (such as deer and squirrels). I would highly recommend this beautiful holiday to any couple, as long as they are taller than me so it is easier to get on the bed :)”

Miss Horton, Shepton Mallet, August 2018

    • “We had a very enjoyable week at The shepherds Hut, it is in a beautiful private location, with a Comfortable double pull down bed, a kitchen area that you can make a decent meal in, a bathroom with walk in shower, it has everything you need for a most pleasant stay, you can relax in a beautiful setting with woodland walks and if you are lucky you will even see deer in the woodland, or from the kitchen window as I did one morning while making tea. in the evening you can either relax by the fire, have a barbecue or just chill on the decked area by the pond. for supplies or a nice day out The town of Tavistock is only a 10 minute drive away. You wont want to go home.”

    Mrs Molloy, Runcorn, July 2018

    • “Perfect, simply perfect. It was a golden getaway. Wonderful hospitality, every detail and more had been set up. All we had to do was relax and enjoy the surroundings!”

    Mr Burchardt, Bristol, July 2018

    • “Superb location, helpful hosts, the very quintessence of glamping.”

    Ms Singleton, Chippenham, May 2018
