“We arrived at the holiday let, Was very awkward to find the key and parking near by to unload was a nightmare.”

However we was very impressed with the holiday let itself, inside was quirky and done to a high standard, only down side was lack of wardrobes in bedrooms and no highchair for a baby even though they supplied a travel cot. We had a fantastic stay for the majority of our booking. However the note that states some minor noise from being close to town was an understatement. Saturday evening after spending 7 hours on the road getting there and then unpacking we wanted nothing more to cuddle up get the kids to bed early and relax. However that was far from the reality. Extremely loud music pounced though all the walls from around 8pm to 1230am which ment we couldn't get the kids to be until it stopped, we couldn't listen to TV and relax as the noise was unbearable and I think it should state its actually attached to a pub and that it can be very loud, Everything else was great just a shame that this had a massive effect on our break. Also we thought 900 pound was extremely expensive for 4 nights with the noise disturbance no parking and no garden

About the location

PENZANCE

St Ives 8 miles.

Penzance hosts Golowan, the Midsummer Carnival, and The Literary Festival. There are also The Exchange, Newlyn and Penlee Art Galleries. One of Cornwall’s most popular holiday areas is the spectacular sweep of Mount’s Bay, from the cliffside fishing village of Mousehole through Penzance and around to beautiful Marazion, hides a wealth of sandy beaches, rocky coves, winding village streets and other places to visit and explore. Connected by causeway to the shore at Marazion is the National Trust’s stunningly beautiful St Michael’s Mount with its hilltop castle and Mediterranean gardens. Walk across at low water and take one of the ferry boats back when the tide is up. Penzance with its winding streets, shops, clubs, restaurants and harbour is a must as is the jumping-off point for day trips to the Scilly Isles. The South West Coast Path passing through Penzance winds its way along the clifftops towards Land’s End. On the way, stop off for a coffee and a rest at beautiful Lamorna Cove, explore the open air Minack Theatre and marvel at the cliffs as you approach Gwennap Head. A stunning walk for those seeking solitude, exercise and some of the UK’s best coastal scenery. Penzance is the perfect holiday base.
