The door in the on suite shower had a handle that was not fixed properly and the tiles in the shower had black mould on them ,we had to clean it off as best we could with some cleaning product we found in one of the cupboards ,also the headboard fabric is cracked and worn the bedroom carpet is also grubby and needs a thorough clean . The sliding glass wardrobe doors will not open as they seem to come of the runners.in the sac on bedroom The blue metallic blinds in the kitchen are dirty and need cleaning, The leather sofas are not very comfortable and the windows need a good clean .also we bought candles to make the place smell better. The shower head in the other bathroom leaks The cleaning and maintenance is not acceptable given the time of arrival and departure. Really was disappointed and don’t think it was worth the cost .in our option would not recommend.

Thank you very much for your feedback, we are sorry to hear your stay was disappointing. We would have appreciated contact during your stay as some of these issues could have been easily resolved or explained to you. The property is very much cared for and looked after, it has had a busy season this year resulting in some extra work being required. Since your comments, we have ensured that all issues were investigated and have been resolved or a plan has been put in place. Property Owner

About the location

ST AUSTELL

Fowey 8 miles; Mevagissey 6 miles

Sitting peacefully in the beautiful county of Cornwall just a mile from the south coast with its numerous sheltered, sandy, beaches, you will find the historic market town of St Austell. Filled with a range of pubs and bars, scrumptious local eateries, St Austell has a train station on the mainline connecting you easily to Truro and on down to Penzance. Newquay can also be reached by train via a quick change at nearby Par. St Austell’s central location in Cornwall provides the perfect setting for your next holiday to the Southwest. Spend your days on exciting outings to such attractions as The Eden Project or the nearby historical port of Charlestown, where you can see artefacts recovered from local ship wrecks at the Shipwreck Treasure Museum. Head to Porthpean Beach for a tranquil walk along the soft sands or hire a kayak for a paddle in the calm, crystal clear waters, before pampering yourself at The Clearing Spa or enjoying a quick nine holes at St Austell Golf Club. Grab some fresh ingredients from the local supermarket on your way back to your holiday home for an evening of wining and dining indoors.
