“Cute cottage!”

Fantastic, well equipped pretty cottage in a wonderful location for exploring both Devon and Cornwall. Close to Kingsand, Cawsand and Mount Edgcumbe the cottage offered lots of local things to do plus ease of access for getting further afield eg the ferry to Plymouth. ...

Fantastic, well equipped pretty cottage in a wonderful location for exploring both Devon and Cornwall. Close to Kingsand, Cawsand and Mount Edgcumbe the cottage offered lots of local things to do plus ease of access for getting further afield eg the ferry to Plymouth. Cottage has everything you need and the owners went above and beyond to ensure we had a great holiday. Great little secure dog friendly garden. Clever use of space for the dining area and laundry facilities. Really warm and welcoming. Perfect for a family of four. We would highly recommend!

“Fantastic, well equipped (and pretty !”

) cottage in a really useful location. We used the cottage as a base for travelling into both Cornwall and Devon. Local resorts and amentities were great - we enjoyed time at Cawsand and Kingsand and at Mount Edgcumbe, and used the ferry to Plymouth too. The owners of the cottage went to great trouble to ensure we had a lovely holiday and this was hugely appreciated.

From here you can easily tour the idyllic Rame Head Heritage Coast while strolling along the South West Coast Path and taking in the magnificent sea vistas.

Heading west will take you to the charming seaside spots of Portwrinkle and Looe, while to the east beautifully sits the striking port city of Plymouth with its multitude of first-class amenities and activities to suit every taste.

This delightful Cornish cottage is perfect at any time of year.

Whitsand Bay 1 mile; Plymouth 8 miles.

Set in a bowl of hills at the head of a tidal creek that leads to the Hamoaze, opposite the great naval city of Plymouth, Millbrook is located on the Rame Peninsula, "Cornwall's Forgotten Corner". Bounded by the Lynher and Tamar rivers, the Hamoaze and the sea, the area is deeply rural and designated as one of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has a good range of shops and pubs, while close by are the pretty coastal villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, from which a ferry will take you to Plymouth. Along the southern edges of the peninsula are miles of beautiful walks with glorious views of Rame Head. Just a mile south of Millbrook lies Whitsand Bay with its miles of uncrowded sandy RNLI patrolled beach and dramatic cliffs. A superb base for discovering the wild side of Cornwall.
