The Property

2 miles from St Tudy and St Kew and about 500 yards back from a pretty wooded part of the A39, a private, spacious, single-storey cottage, a Lamellen Estate property converted from a detached barn. It is surrounded by a fenced lawn/shrub garden and 3 acres of woodland. There are lovely long west-facing wooded meadow views. From March to the end of August you are welcome to walk or cycle 100 acres of private woodland in the Allen Valley (SSSI), accessed 100 yards along the lane. The River Allen flows through the woodland (tiddler fishing).

Large living/dining/kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, electric cooker) with woodburner, TV/DVD, tranquil views and French windows (small step down) to patio (table/chairs). St Tudy: little village (good food pub, medieval church) off the beaten track. Golf, 2 miles. Sea at Port Isaac/Port Gaverne (cove beach), 4½ miles, or Polzeath (splendid sand/surf beach) and Rock (sandy beach, watersports, sailing school and St Enodoc golf course), 7. Camel Trail, 3.
