  • “The Apt. Is fine clean comfortable and well equipped .”

The position is very peaceful and scenic . Unfortunately there is a major flaw in your description of the farm , the incessant barking of dogs starting as early as 7am and still at it at 10pm . In your resume of Tregonhawk you say day care for your dog can be arranged it should read the owners appear to be running a kennels . There were so many different dogs barking that speaking to any one about it would be pointless . If a car drove past or we we went out to the car or sat on the patio off ...

If a car drove past or we we went out to the car or sat on the patio off they went it was continuous throughout the day . Any one moving around the farm set them off . A brilliant week great weather spoilt by barking dogs . I am not anti dogs as we have until recently always had dogs . I do not like moaning but I feel this possible problem should be on your description of the farm . Sorry Mike Hesk

About the location

MILLBROOK

Whitsand Bay 1 mile; Plymouth 8 miles.

Set in a bowl of hills at the head of a tidal creek that leads to the Hamoaze, opposite the great naval city of Plymouth, Millbrook is located on the Rame Peninsula, "Cornwall's Forgotten Corner". Bounded by the Lynher and Tamar rivers, the Hamoaze and the sea, the area is deeply rural and designated as one of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has a good range of shops and pubs, while close by are the pretty coastal villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, from which a ferry will take you to Plymouth. Along the southern edges of the peninsula are miles of beautiful walks with glorious views of Rame Head. Just a mile south of Millbrook lies Whitsand Bay with its miles of uncrowded sandy RNLI patrolled beach and dramatic cliffs. A superb base for discovering the wild side of Cornwall.

Note: This property does not accept children, except babes in arms.
