“Lovely light filled, secluded upside down cottage.”
I felt it had been cleaned well, and left in a safe way for my stay, observing covid rules. Comfortable beds, and I loved being able to shower with a view of the sky! Nice touches, like the bookcase set into the wall of the hallway, which itself was a good space.
The kitchen was well equipped although I feel some of the utensils need to be checked and replaced.
A pretty garden which gets plenty of sun, but be warned the decking area is sharp underfoot (anti- slip ridges) and so using it barefoot is not recommended.
The parking area is fine but with overhanging trees, the birds enjoyed using my car as a toilet, and I had to wash it 3 times during my stay. Not what I expect to have to do on holiday.
Whilst the cottage is secluded, it is a half mile walk downhill to the Camel Trail which takes you into Padstow or Wadebridge depending on which way you walk. And it is a mile uphill to the main road and the bus stop, with links to the same destinations and beyond. Otherwise a car would be essential if staying here. I had a supermarket delivery when I arrived, but there is a large Tesco about 5 mins away in the car.
