    • “Excellent bungalow close to the sea. Well equipped, ideal for family holiday. Bude and other popular towns within easy driving distance. Nearby small shop, restaurant and pub are handy. Surfing and other activities look good.”

    Mr Tucker, Swindon, October 2018

    • “Very clean and comfortable holiday cottage. Loved the décor and sofas comfortable. Dogs liked the beach, which was only a short walk away. The Olive Tree in Bude was good for lite bites or main meals. All in all we had a good time and would definitely book again. Nice touches on arrival, like wine, biscuits and even a biscuit each for the dogs. Thanks to Helpful Holidays and Zoe the caretaker.”

    Mrs Hill, Melksham, October 2018

    • “This is the third time we have stayed in this particular bungalow and we love it. It is spacious and relaxing and has everything we need. The beaches are fantastic and Widmouth/Bude and surrounding areas are very dog friendly. Lisa (caretaker) contacted us a few days before our holiday to check we had all the details and we had her contact details should we have needed any help (which we didn't - but its nice to know who to contact if we needed to) The only downside was the steps down to the garden at the back of the bungalow which was quite difficult for my husband who has mobility issues. I can not remember if this is on the property details so apologies if it is. Also the lighting at the back is not great so when you need to let the dogs out for a tinkle at night in the dark it is difficult to see. We couldn't find a torch but luckily we had brought one with us. Other than that - it was perfect! So thanks once again for your excellent service (always so helpful when I ring up to book) and I will speak to you soon as we will need to book nice and early for our trip again next year ! x”

    Mrs Radford, SALISBURY, September 2018

    • “clean and nicely decorated - good location near dog friendly beach (2 mins walk) well equipped. good secure garden. would book again.”

    Mrs Newsholme, Huddersfield, September 2018

    • “I left a couple of suggestions in the visitors' book - I will add some more here for your benefit : Overall : very happy with the cottage, location, secure garden for the dogs. Beds were reasonably comfortable (often the worst bit of renting a holiday cottage), and showers were good with plenty of hot water. Areas to improve : - No small sharp knives; the drawer was loaded with knifeware and assorted weapons, but there were no small, sharp knives for cutting strawberries, lemons etc. - there was 1 ice cube bag in the freezer but no apparent additional bags to refill and place in the freezer. We had to improvise using egg cups to make ice cubes. - no drying facility apart from the collapsible rack. The outside washing line doesn't work and is coming out of its wall fixing anyway. Luckily we had glorious weather so could dry our towels outside, but what if it had been wet? I would strongly recommend buying a tumble drier. - no kitchen paper towel - as noted by other guests, the plants need trimming on the upper patio. Sitting watching the sunset, our view was interrupted by some vigorous plants that need a good haircut!”

    Mr Wilson, READING, July 2018

    • “Perfect accommodation, they have thought of everything you could possibly need. Great view of the sea from the garden and only a few minutes walk to the beach, which was ideal, as we had our dog with us. Very peaceful, no road noise only the crashing of the waves could be heard! We would definitely stay here again as it was ideally situated for us to explore, it was also clean, modern, bright and spacious, the furnishings were also very comfortable, nothing worse than a cheap bed and mattress to ruin your holiday with a bad back, which is what you get in most holiday homes, but not here!”

    Mr Notman, HUNTINGDON, June 2018

    • “Exceptional accommodation. Close to beach. Dog friendly. Good food within easy walking distance.”

    Mrs Worth, PLYMOUTH, June 2018

    • “This was our 2nd time here. We really enjoyed our stay and loved how close it is to the beach. It has everything you need for a good holiday. It’s a shame it’s already book for next year as we would have booked again.”

    Mrs Taylor, SOLIHULL, May 2018

    • “I'm from Germany, please apologize bad my bad English... Very nice cottage, enough space, good stiled furnitures, great kitchen, two bathrooms, nice neighbours. Quiet location. Perfekt beach: 2 minutes away from the cottage, on the left side a dog's beach, on the right side the dog's free beach with the surfers. Costal path is directly passing. Next town Bude 1 hour by foot and 10 minutes by car away. Very good restaurant (The Beachhouse) 5 minutes by foot away. The Widemouth Manor restaurant ist also commendable. The Bay View Inn has for dog owners only some space near the restrooms, no way. Very, very friendly und relaxed people in Cornwall!!! Critics: Garden with direct sea view, BUT: Please, cut the big plant blocking the sea view. What a bad garden planning! The garden should be developed to upgrade the house. Not so nice too, to have the gas bottles in the garden...”

    Mr Werner, May 2018

    • “The bungalow was warm and spacious. It is very well equipped and tastefully furnished and decorated. The location is great for walkers with lovely views in every direction.”

    Thomas, Bath, April 2018

    • “Great cottage, very comfortable open plan lay out. Best location in Widemouth bay !”

    Mr Offer, BROADSTONE, April 2018
