The property

Camelot Cottage is a picture-perfect whitewashed Cornish cottage, located in the quiet hamlet of Trelights and within walking distance of both the coastal path and Port Isaac.

For a relaxing family vacation in Cornwall, the cottage has kept many of its historic elements while adding a stylish twist.

When you enter the house, you'll find a warm and inviting living area where you may relax on the sofas and enjoy the warmth of the woodburning stove.

Just past this door is a fully stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing lunch break.

Two lovely bedrooms await you upstairs; a roomy double and a twin that are both sure to make you happy when you first open their doors in the morning.

The downstairs laundry and shower area is perfect for rinsing out beachwear and removing traces of salt and sand after a day at the beach.

Step outside the kitchen stable door onto the paved courtyard, where you'll discover a table and chairs, perfect for eating a meal under the stars.

Around the corner from the courtyard is a set of wooden steps that lead to an elevated deck with a bistro table and chairs, perfect for a leisurely morning coffee.

Cooked breakfasts, lunches, and cream teas are available at the farm shop and café, a ten-minute stroll away along a picturesque bridleway.

Guests can enjoy their meal indoors or on the café's child-friendly garden, which provides stunning panoramas of the surrounding open countryside.

Or you may head into Port Isaac's historic core, where you'll discover a number of taverns and restaurants, some of which have earned Michelin stars.

The surrounding section of coast walk is so beautiful that it has been classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it a great place to go for a stroll.

Spend an afternoon in the summer exploring Port Isaac's winding alleys and picturesque fishing harbour, or learn about the area's past at Boscastle's mediaeval harbour or nearby Tintagel Castle.

Only four miles away lies the beautiful beach town of Rock, known for its large sandy beach.

The dog-friendly Daymer Bay is a circular walk away, or you can take the foot ferry across the Camel Estuary to the commercial hub of Padstow.

The best surfing beach in the area is in close proximity, and it's Polzeath.

Your vacation in Cornwall at Camelot Cottage will be one you'll never forget.

About the location

PORT ISAAC

Polzeath 6.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. There is ample parking at the top of the village and the village is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions including the dramatic Doyden Castle, the beautiful Lundy Bay and the famous Doc Martin's clinic. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops in the village. Just a short drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike.
