  • “Fuse was blown for downstairs lights and it wasn't fixed while we were there.”

Hot water was hit and miss, boiler worked and then didn't work. Advised to use immersion heater. Overall our stay was affected by all of this

The property

3 miles from Wadebridge and just 9 from Padstow, a smart semi-detached cottage within the beautiful Hustyns resort, an exclusive retreat of 28 lodges set in 100 acres of tranquil Cornish countryside.

An indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, gym, tennis court, crazy golf and children’s play area are all available for you to enjoy in this oasis.

A hedge-enclosed garden makes the cottage wonderfully secluded, with large decked lounging area at the back (table/chairs, loungers).

Four shallow steps down to the front door from the front gate (no steps from back gate).

Spacious open-plan living/dining/kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, electric cooker/gas hob) with electric flame-effect fire, TV/DVD, music system and floor-to-ceiling glazed doors to deck.

Two ground-floor bedrooms - a double (four-poster bed) with TV and en suite shower-room (suite), and a good-sized twin (TV); bathroom (suite plus hand-shower).

Utility room (washer-drier).

From the living area, open tread wood stairs spiral up to a hugely generous double bedroom (6' bed) with TV, lovely rural views, little balcony (chairs/table) and big en suite bathroom (suite with whirlpool bath, separate shower, double washbasins) and sauna (extra charge).

A welcoming cottage with brilliant facilities on your doorstep - the perfect opportunity to be pampered, revitalise or explore both coast and moor. Wadebridge: lively, small market town with plenty of shops, good restaurants, cinema, leisure centre (indoor pool) and fine medieval bridge on the river Camel, where bicycles can be hired for the Camel Trail.

Padstow, 6 miles.
