“It was a very comfortable cottage in a good location”

The property

On the edge of St Issey, a superb semi-detached cottage, one cottage in from a tiny lane that leads down to a creek and the Camel Trail.

Attention to detail and flair gives a rustic French feel, but with all modern comforts.

It faces its large, enclosed and pretty sunny garden with two patios (tables/chairs, barbecue) and a few steps up to a lawn.

Four steps up from parking area to entrance.

Living room with oak beams, thick uneven walls, big sofas, TV/DVD, garden view and an inglenook (woodburner).

Smart kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, electric cooker), opening into lovely big conservatory/dining room (TV).

Ground-floor bathroom (suite, shower over bath).

Steep open stairs from living room up to three bedrooms - a double (5' metal-framed bed) with en suite shower-room (suite), step up to a twin with walk-in wardrobe and en suite shower-room (suite), and a room with two sets of 3' bunks and VDU/DVD (additional clothes-storage space on landing).

Washing machine, tumble drier and wetsuit drying in garage, plus warm outdoor shower for sandy children/dogs.

Best for maximum of 6 adults or 4 adults/4 children.

Footpath/lane walk/cycle across creek bridge to Padstow (about 3 miles).

A beautiful cottage in a stunning area. St Issey: village with pub 3 miles from Padstow and about 5 from the great sand/surf beaches around Trevose Head and cliff walking (Bedruthan Steps).
