“Lovely cottage, rooms are well sized.”

Double room upstairs has the water heater in it so was quite warm, on hotter days a fan would be a useful addition. Opening the window lots of bugs came in, so an insect repellent would also be useful. Bathroom's x2 large and had good water pressure, take your own hand soap. Beds were comfortable, mattress in double upstairs was soft, lots of pillows, clean white bedding. Good amount of hanging space and clothes storage in all rooms. Decking area out the back with seating & lovely views of countryside and one of the fishing lakes. The clubhouse was nice, with a good menu, lots of choice. The food was very tasty and good sized portions. The clubhouse and shop were not always open. Really nice children's play area and access to animal pens. Local area has 2 pubs that serve food within a reasonable distance. The Bickford arms, typical pub grub, nothing fancy. The Black River Inn, Cornish Tapas, delicious food, upper price point but definitely worth a visit. We will definitely stay again.
