  • “The property was not very clean and full of cobwebs.”

There were 2 lounge chairs that were so dirty and stained that I asked for them to be changed straight away, they were changed however replaced with 2 stacking conference chairs, after having to ask about how long we would have these chairs they were changed again the next day with 2 standard bedroom chairs not suitable for sitting on any length of time. The 2 seater sofa should be in the bin, the seating cushions were leaking feathers so badly that they had been covered with a blanket which we had to sit on, they lacked sufficient stuffing making them the most uncomfortable seating we have ever had to sit on - we had to use our car blankets to cove the sofa fully to be able to sit It. The glass coffee table had so much grime and dirt in gap between the glass and wooden rim we had to ask for this to be cleaned - which was done straight away. Wallpaper peeling off the wall in the hallway again it was sorted the next day. Bedroom door unable to close as the bedside cabinet was too big. There was nail polish on the bed throw, so asked for it to be removed. I could continue...but overall I would have expected a 5 star hotel to make sure this property was cleaned to the same standard and the furnitures to be as comfortable as in the hotel. On a positive note the food and staff in the Brasserie was very nice as were the staff in the reception and bar areas. Very poor and disappointing vacation.
