    • “A lovely house and gardens in a fantastic location, very accommodating owners, Thank you for a brilliant week”

Ms Stanley, Sowerby Bridge, October 2018

    • “The accommodation was fabulous. Ideal for Brixham & places nearby. It felt like a home as soon as we arrived. Would love to stay here again.”

    Miss Brown, Crawley, September 2018

    • “The house was as stated, it was clean tidy and plenty of space to give people their own space if needed. Everything was there that you needed to have a comfortable stay. The garden was a joy both to look at and sit in, the house also benefited from private parking. Very close to town but for anyone with walking problems both the journey down and back need stamina. We had lovely weather to enjoy our time in Devon.”

    Mrs McLeod, BOOTLE, September 2018

    • “For accommodation serving up to 5 adults, the provision of only 5 knives, forks and spoons was really inadequate. At least double this quota would help. There were numerous mugs but cutlery was too sparse. ****Owner response**** Thank you very much for the comments, we quite agree that plentiful cutlery is needed! We're so sorry you didn't see it, but in the dining room there is a sideboard with at least 10 further knives and forks, plus other cutlery. We hope you managed despite this and that you had a great holiday!”

    Mrs Prentice, Eastbourne, July 2018

    • “The sofas were uncomfortable. The house was lovely ,clean and has everything we need. Even let us use the bbq with gas included. Any issue we had the caretaker came straight over to fix.”

    Mr Perry, WAREHAM, July 2018

    • “House was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Location was perfect, parking and was even a bbq and lovely well kept garden. Everything was there. Are thinking of booking again.”

    Mrs Beck, RUGBY, June 2018

    • “What a wonderful week we had at danecroft! From the moment we opened the front door we noticed how clean and tidy it was, a welcome pack on the kitchen table was well received! Beautiful garden that was a lot bigger than expected! Beautiful house and very spacious! Plenty to do in the area also. A very relaxing week, will be returning.”

    Mrs Loader, WINCANTON, May 2018

    • “Once again we had a lovely week which began at the outset with the smooth booking arrangements.Thank You”

    Mr Worthington, WOLVERHAMPTON, May 2018

    • “Gone to the same home for 8 years so we must be happy with the service”

    Mr Howarth, SHEFFIELD, May 2018

    • “Excellent dog friendly holiday home. Close to Coast path and to Brixham, 15 minutes on foot, also bus stop close by. A beautiful house with all facilities and kept very clean. I would highly recommend.”

    Mrs Stuttard, Emsworth, April 2018

    • “Yes just to say we are very disappointed that you are now part of a large company. We have always liked the fact that you were individual.”

    Mrs Moulsley, April 2018

Regional Information

BRIXHAM Dartmouth 5 miles; Paignton 6 miles; Torquay 8 miles. Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera, famed for its sunny mild climate all year round. The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour where all the activity is centred. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region. A good mix of relaxation or action, to suit all ages, where you are never far from the sea.
