    “The parking place allotted to this property was very small and really unusable, it is right in a corner of the car park and as the next door parking space was in use and the ones in the row behind were full, you couldn’t turn in, also there are some electricity boxes on the wall which further reduces the size of the parking space.”


    We used the visitors parking area as there were spare spaces but in the high season there may not be. The property was small but very nice, not much storage space, but very clean and tidy. All the amenities were excellent, the wi-fi worked well. It was very warm when we were there and a small cooling fan would be good to aid sleeping as at night it was impossible to get fresh air. The complex is quite high up and the walk to the beach is difficult if you are a little disabled, the walk along the cliff path to Brixham can also be hard work, I suffer with knee problems and although we walked most days, sometimes it was difficult. All in all it was a good week and we had an enjoyable time.

Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera, famed for its sunny mild climate all year round. The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour where all the activity is centred. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region. A good mix of relaxation or action, to suit all ages, where you are never far from the sea.
