Reviews

    • “ALL GOOD THANK YOU”

    Mr Freeman, Newcastle, September 2018

    • “Very comfortable cottage and well worth a visit for anybody looking for either a family holiday or restful break off the beaten track but within realistic distance of shops, villages and places to visit.”

    Mr Bates, TADLEY, September 2018

    • “Our second visit to Withymore Cottage and hopefully not our last. Everything you could wish for in a peaceful, very well equipped, beautiful cottage. Great spot and lovely hosts.”

Mrs Hayman, HIGH WYCOMBE, August 2018

    • “Beautiful cottage in a great location, home from home.... would definitely go back.”

    Mr Clarke, STUDLEY, July 2018

    • “We have just got back from a week at Withymore cottage, a beautiful cottage and well located for beaches and Salcombe. Very clean and tidy and all that you could need from a holiday cottage. The owners are lovely and very helpful if you need anything. I would strongly recommend this cottage we had a great time.”

Mrs Ord, Arrington Royston, June 2018

    • “Over the years, we have stayed at many holiday cottages in various parts of the country, but Withymore Cottage has to be among the best. Situated down a long private lane close to the farmhouse on a working beef farm, it is a haven of peace and quiet (except for the numerous birds, including one particularly friendly robin!) The property is decorated, furnished and equipped throughout to an extremely high standard. The general living/kitchen area is particularly light and roomy, and connects well with the sunny patio and garden (south facing) by large French windows. The garden is fully enclosed, so is good for keeping an eye on children and/or dogs playing. A superb welcome pack awaits visitors, together with a warm welcome from the owners Jo and Graham Hocking. We had a fabulous week's break there, with easy access to many of the area's prime locations eg Salcombe, Dartmouth, Brixham etc, and the numerous cliff walks and coves that can be explored closeby. This property and its location are thoroughly recommended, and we aim to return there very soon!!”

    Mr Lawrence, Holsworthy, May 2018

    • “Lovely ,homely cottage.Owners made us feel very welcome”
