The property

10 The Square is a delightful cottage nestled in the north of Dartmoor National Park, in the vibrant town of Chagford.

A well-appointed dwelling, this cottage provides a brilliant base for couples or groups of three looking to explore the glorious Devon countryside.

As you enter the cottage, discover a warm and welcoming sitting room, home to a striking fireplace with beautiful exposed stone and original wooden beams.

Snuggle up on one of the two pretty sofas and turn on the TV to catch a classic movie as you enjoy a cup of tea and watch as the log slowly burns on the stove.

Wander into the fully-equipped kitchen filled with handy appliances along with a dishwasher, so that you don't have to worry about who's washing up after a hearty home-cooked meal at the dining table.

Make your way up the steep staircase to the first floor and make yourself at home in one of the two bedrooms available; a spacious king size room has been decorated with calming green hues and crisp white bedding whilst hosting ample storage for all of your belongings.

The second of the bedrooms is a peaceful small double, the perfect place to escape the excitement and settle down for the evening with a captivating book.

Take your time to enjoy a rejuvenating shower in the stunning bathroom with chic dark blue tiles and roomy shower.

When the sun is shining and the weather is warm, saunter through the enclosed courtyard and stumble upon the private garden where you can catch some rays and enjoy lunch alfresco at the outdoor table.

A picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon. Chagford, one of the five Stannary towns of Dartmoor, is small in size but is packed with amenities and things to do. There is a wide range of shops as well as four pubs. Chagford also has more active facilities such as public tennis court and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure. It is a town of great history, home to the Three Crowns Hotel which dates back to the 1200's. Chagford is well known for its culture, hosting film, literary and music festivals in the town as well as an annual running race, known as Two Hills Race. Just over 21 miles away is the bustling, beautiful city of Exeter for a different kind of break, definitely worth a visit. The charming, attractive town of Okehampton sits just 12 miles away.
