    • “Delightful cottage home from home”
    • tripadvisor rating
    • “We had a very peaceful week here, A really comfortable space with all the facilities one could need. The Cowshed is very well laid out for two people. The kitchen is really well provided in utensils and appliances. The owners are super friendly and there were little extras from their garden left for us during the week - thank you so much.”

Gillian N, Bradwell, United Kingdom, September 2018

    • “Oh wow!”

    • “Just returned from a fortnight staying at the Cow Shed. It was amazing, I would have given a higher rating if it had been possible. The cottage has been furnished to the highest spec, I can't think of anything that hadn't been thought about by the owners.Such a comfortable bed, brilliant power shower, gorgeous handmade soaps. The accommodation is off the beaten track which just enhanced a tranquil and peaceful holiday, it was so easy to completely fabulous comfort. The devon coastline is spectacular and the coastal path is literally a field away from the Cow shed, perfect for long challenging walks or just an evening stroll. Thank you Liz and Nick for a truly fantastic holiday cottage and for all the little gifts that seemed to magically appear!”

Mrs Nowell, Hope Valley, September 2018

    • “Great cottage, great hosts. No complaints and would definitely recommend.”

    Mr Marsh, Sheffield, August 2018

    • “The Cow Shed is a lovely cottage furnished to a high standard, with everything we needed for our stay (plus complimentary wine and chocolate). Liz and Nick are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. The cottage is a great base for exploring this lovely part of the world and is within easy reach of lots of lovely beaches, towns and coves. It was a little more 'off the beaten track' than I originally expected - the village of Hartland is a 40 minute walk away.”

Mrs Neville, Sowerby Bridge, July 2018

    • “This has to be one of the best places we have stayed in. The Cow Shed is so comfortable and fitted to a high standard with many extra little touches provided by the owners, who are very welcoming and helpful. The location is so quiet and peaceful, particularly enjoyed not hearing traffic noise. A great find for us as we are walkers. The coastal path is a 10 minute walk from the back gate with many other footpaths and bridleways accessible. We only took the car out once during the week, although there are plenty of places to venture to nearby if you want to go further afield. Can’t recommend the Cow Shed highly enough.”

    Mrs Spencer, Farnham, June 2018

    • “We have had the most lovely week. The cottage is stunning. So comfortable and with everything you need. It is a credit to Nick and Liz. Will be telling everyone.”

    Mrs Webster, Chester, May 2018
