The Property

Beside a quiet lane on the edge of Kingston, the middle one of a row of three 300-year-old cottages, owner loved/used. Good-sized, enclosed, pretty garden at the back with lawn and flowers, patio (garden furniture, barbecue) and summer house.
From tiny front area, stable doors into comfortable living room with beams, fireplace (cast iron stove with oil ‘living flame’ fire), original paintings and TV/DVD/PVR. Kingston: remarkably off-the-beaten-track little village (good pub, church) with lots of pretty houses, a mile from the River Erme’s beautiful wooded estuary and good sandy Wonwell beach (bodyboarding, paddle boarding, kayaking). St Ann’s Chapel (PO/shop), 1 mile. More fine sandy beaches and golf at Bigbury-on-Sea/Burgh Island, 4 miles; for shops, pretty Modbury, 3½ miles.
