LIVERTON Haytor Vale is a very pretty hamlet of white cottages beside the old coaching inn, The Rock, on Dartmoor's southeastern edge just one mile from the market town of Bovey Tracey. Taking its name from the river that flows through the town, Bovey Tracey is home to many restaurants, coffee shops and attractions including a twice monthly farmers market, and the popular ‘House of Marbles’. Widely regarded as the ‘gateway to Dartmoor’, the wild and rugged landscape provides the perfect setting for any number of outdoor activities, including swimming, cycling, canoeing, climbing, horse-riding and many more.
