“What a lovely barn in a beautiful setting!”

We were made to feel very welcome by the owner Vanessa when we arrived and really appreciated the hamper of goodies we found in the kitchen (wine, crisps, cake, coffee and tea) and the large vase of fresh flowers. There was also milk in the fridge so we could have a cuppa after our journey. The Barn was very spacious, clean and comfortable and our 5 year old couldn't get over the 'upside down' layout with the kitchen and lounge upstairs! The Barn was very spacious, clean and comfortable and our 5 year old couldn't get over the 'upside down' layout with the kitchen and lounge upstairs! This totally makes sense when you see the views from the front of the house! There was everything you could need in The Barn with a well equipped kitchen (including dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier), books/DVDs for adults and children, some toys for toddler ager kids and shower gel/soap in each bathroom. There are a number of lovely walks directly from the property and you are so close great areas to explore in Devon, coastal and in the Moor. We had a lovely time at The Barn which was topped off with an Easter egg for our little boy!! A highly recommended place to stay.
