    “This is a really lovely cottage in a good location.”

    All the furniture is stylish and comfortable and the kitchen amenities are very good, such as the induction hob and fridge with in-built ice-maker. We would stay here again, certainly. ...

    All the furniture is stylish and comfortable and the kitchen amenities are very good, such as the induction hob and fridge with in-built ice-maker. We would stay here again, certainly. Our only negative feedback is that the check-in/out times are quite arduous, especially if you have young children. 6pm Friday check-in basically condemns you to hell on the M5 and a loss of infant bedtime routine; 9am check-out coupled with a fair bit of cleaning responsibilities (stripping beds, emptying bins etc) is also pretty unkind. We understand that the owners do some cleaning themselves, and that Covid has increased cleaning standards, but surely this could be made friendlier for guests, even if it meant paying a little more.

    We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the check-in times.. We have reset check in times to pre- covid times of 5pm and 10 am. There are 3 x holiday cottages here at Cowslip.life -two of which offer minimum 3 night stays and during Peak season we need to hire help with changeovers. Local cleaning agencies work to tight schedules - ours are only available from 9:30am on Fridays as this is the busiest changeover day of their week . They have contingencies in their contract for holiday cottages to have guests bag their bedlinen + remove bin waste. This is also in place outside of pandemic times to keep cleaners safe in their work. The pandemic saw many adaptations for many businesses. The holiday letting business was no exception and the specifications asked of hosts meant lots of additional planning and setting of new specifications in place- the basic theme being to keep all involved -safe! Our printed 'welcome' booklets are designed with much care & thought. We feel they explain our commitment to providing a safe holiday in a kind and friendly manner- with local recommendations + good intent.! We hope this re-assures any future guests looking to book a stay in Cowslip Cottage. Property Owner

It has three bedrooms made up of two king-size doubles and a twin, there is also a family bathroom and a shower room, the property can sleep six people.

To the outside there is plenty of off road parking and an enclosed rear garden with a patio and an AstroTurf area with furniture.

You can visit a whole host of incredible places in the local area, from the idyllic villages and epic scenery of Lynmouth, Lee Bay and Morte Hoe, to the surfing beaches of Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton and fishing harbours of Instow and Appledore. Georgeham is a charming village in the centre of it all.
