“Stayed in the old byre cottage for a week, and it was superb, the cottage is cosy and well presented,it has everything that is needed and more, the hosts have literally thought of everything,if the weather is bad there is use of several board games and lots of books to read, the log burner was left ready to fire up if needed,we didn't need to use it as the heating was plenty warm enough, the upstairs had a beautiful bathroom with roll top bath and shower which was very welcome after long days out to have a lovely soak, the bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets linen and towels were all of top quality(nothing cheap and nasty in this cottage),the kitchen was very well equipped with everything that you could easily prepare and cook a dinner party if you wanted too,the patio door in the kitchen lead to a courtyard which overlooked beautiful landscaped gardens, chickens and cockerel and a horse who was very friendly, and came to met you every day on your return back for a polo mint!”

I can not recommend this cottage highly enough, the walks and scenery on the moors and the resouvoir which is 5mins away are beautiful, and it's only 10 min drive to get to the border of cornwall so excellent location too.
