    “What a beautiful house in a great location.”

    The owner was there on time to meet us and very welcoming.

    The owner was there on time to meet us and very welcoming. The property is huge! Perfect for us and our friends. Every bedroom has an ensuite bathroom which is a bonus. The kitchen is well equipped. The drawing room and quiet room are lovely. The house has a good secure, enclosed garden at the back of the property which is so important fir the dogs. There is a great little walk from the house down to the clapper bridge which is fantastic.

Dartfordleigh House is an immaculate detached house residing in Postbridge, named for its iconic stone clapper bridge just paces away.

Here you'll enjoy the encompassing landscape of the Dartmoor National Park and all it's magnificent surroundings and tors.

Dartfordleigh House, a historic hunting lodge built in 1890, is a fantastic location for a large family or group of 12 looking for a holiday in Devon.

When you arrive, you will be met with generous off-road parking for six cars, allowing you to easily move your belongings into your new home-away-from-home.

Continue inside to find the ornate sitting room, where soft sofas welcome you to take a seat in front of the toasty woodburning stove; switch on the Smart TV and stream your favourite show or movie.

If you want to relax in a quieter setting, make your way to the adjacent library offering a great selection of books for you to choose from.

When you're hungry, head to the kitchen, which is equipped with a range of appliances such as an oil-fired aga and where the group's chef can whip up delectable dishes for all to enjoy.
