“We enjoyed our stay very much and also enjoyed friendly chats with the owners.”

We found it very close to harbor, shops, bars & restaurants although it was a steep hill back to property. We would highly recommend this property and we would also return, thank you for a lovely week.

“The accommodation was as described.”

When we arrived we were greeted with a hamper including bread, scones, biscuits, butter, homemade jam, tea, coffee, sugar in the fridge was a packet of butter, a litre of milk, a tub of clotted cream. There was every possible cleaning product available and more than enough towels and toilet rolls in every bathroom. The couple who own the place were lovely and friendly. The only slight downside was that it is up on hill and not very accessible on foot if you haven't got good mobility but saying that I think that is pretty much a given in Torquay. I would definitely go back again.

“We have had self catering holidays for many years and are pleased to say that "The Link" is one of the best properties that we have stayed in.”

The property was extremely clean and tidy and decorated in a pleasant manner and style. The kitchen, though compact, had everything, and more, than we required including a superb comprehensive welcome hamper. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedding of good quality as was all the furnishings. Our hosts, Paul and Linda, were very pleasant and helpful and lived in the adjoining property. Easily available when we needed their local knowledge. Parking was close within the grounds and plentiful for our needs. Personally we would have liked a DVD player with the main TV and the lighting on overcast days was a bit dull, larger wattage bulbs would have been appreciated. The settees were comfortable but a bit awkward to "rise" from for my old bones. However very good value for money, and YES we would stay there again. Generally very pleasing indeed. “This is only our personal opinion but just felt that the sofas were very low, i have not long had a hip replacement and found it very difficult to sit on the sofas, they are far too low and difficult get out of.”

Also my parents are both in their late 70's they struggled with getting out of the sofas as they are low. We had to bring the dining chairs into the lounge to sit on Other than that we loved the accomodation and our hosts were very helpful and accomodating and we've sent them a thank you card stating how much we enjoyed our stay
