    “The property is beautifully finished inside and the garden space is well kept.”

    The only issue might be on street parking but the owner helps out with that providing a number of permits and as we had a small vehicle (Corsa) we were able to use the space at the rear of the house.

The property

Set amongst a cluster of historic terraced cottages at the centre of Exmouth town, Ty Glas is a picture postcard cottage surrounded by the breath-taking scenery of the Jurassic coast.

Continue through to the attractive farmhouse kitchen and prepare a hearty home-cooked meal with the help of the plethora of appliances that rest within the pretty blue cabinets, before taking your seat at the traditional wood dining table and indulging a tasty bottle of bubbly.

An adjoining utility room provides a handy space to wash all of your beachwear, whilst a few steps away you can freshen up with a long soak in the shower room.

Exeter 11.5 miles.

On the eastern bank of the estuary of the River Exe, Exmouth has everything required by the visitor for a relaxing break. A thriving coastal town with a nationally renowned bird sanctuary, close to miles of sandy beaches, superb coastal walking, with everything for the fisherman and sailor, close to Exeter and with much to do and see - this all contributes to the town’s attraction. In addition to messing about on boats, lazing on the beach or taking the ferry up the estuary or to Dawlish Warren nature reserve, there’s always Crealy Park theme park, Bicton Park stately home and gardens, the Donkey Sanctuary at nearby Sidmouth, Woodbury Common, the cathedral city of Exeter, the Sandy Bay World of Country Life and the all absorbing Jurassic Coast with its famous fossil deposits stretching eastwards into Dorset. In terms of visitor attractions and coastal lifestyle you won’t find much better than Exmouth.

There is on street parking in the front on a first come basis (quite busy being in the town centre). With guest's number plate a free parking permit can be provided for the stay, valid in a few car parks around town for both 3 hour short stays and long stay overnight
