    • “Everything was very good, and was as described, which is quite unusual.we have had some poor experiences in the past, but will probably book again for next year with you for the same cottage. We would book now but am reluctant to commit a deposit so early. A special thanks to the lady who made the cottage immaculate for our arrival.”

    Mr Marsden, OLDHAM, September 2018

    • “The property was exactly what we wanted, surpassed only by the location - peaceful, clean, comfortable, homely, fully-equipped, well-maintained and dog-friendly.The only very small negative (almost negligible) was that the heating was not more controllable. For what I am sure are very valid reasons, guests are requested not to adjust the main heater in the living room, presumably because it can affect the hot water. Consequently, at times it became slightly uncomfortably hot in the living area (especially during the daytime when we experienced unexpected warm weather), but as stated in the guests handbook, that was mainly overcome by opening some windows and doors. But as stated, this very slight negative was more the surpassed by the many positives. If staying in that area again, we would have no hesitation in re-booking if it were available. Geoff and Marilyn”

    Mr Taylor, Verwood, September 2018

    • “The cottage was excellent and very well equipped. Spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. The dishwasher wasn't working when we arrived although the engineer was supposed to be coming to fix it that didn't happen. I just have one observation - the cottage is marketed as dog friendly and it certainly was, with a wonderful garden for them, however, the lounge is freshly carpeted which of course is great, but should the weather be wet you could be in the situation of taking wet and muddy dogs straight into the house.”

    Mrs Manisty, Yateley, July 2018

    • “A fantastic, comfortable and really cosy cottage in an ideal location for walks and sea. It was super clean upon arrival, with clear instructions for recycling and rubbish and heating etc, and we will definitely be back!”

    Mrs Batt, July 2018

    • “Lovely cottage, very cosy and welcoming and everything you needed provided. Great dog friendly garden and real sun trap. Lovely quiet village with very nice pub serving good food, although recommend you book”

    Mr Thomas, Hook, June 2018

    • “We have 2 dogs so it’s not easy to find people that will allow them in the cottages ( which I quite understand ) , but the staff at Helpful Holidays were great and we got a beautiful 2 bedroom accommodation in the village of Kingston. The village has a 16 th century pub will good food and really friendly people, our dogs went swimming everyday down on the beach, what more could you ask for ,I would definitely recommend the company and the cottage to anyone.”

    Mrs Wortley, GLASTONBURY, June 2018

    • “Once again, a wonderful cottage. The fridge didn’t work but was replaced immediately by Claire the caretaker who as so helpful and a friendly voice on the phone. A phone call from Sykes to check that all had been ok was a lovely touch. Really really can not fault the company or the houses we have rented and definitely will use you again. The whole cottage was well equipped and the garden was beautiful. The beds were so comfortable and very much a home from home. The one (small) suggestion would be to provide bath sheets as the towels in the bathroom were quite small. Thank you once again for a perfect holiday.”

    Mr Trott, OXFORD, May 2018
