    • “Kingston is a great little village with a warm heart - we had a great reception from everyone we met whether in the pub, the church, on the beach or just passing in the road, and made a superb venue to spend a week with the family at Christmas. Just a general comment about this and other holiday rents we have had from Helpful Holidays - there are never enough of the basics: drying-up cloths, washing-up materials, bin bags etc. Some simple basic instructions on how to 'get to started' and operate the TV & hi-fi etc would be helpful. We had a tech-geek with us and even he couldn't get everything to work and was baffled by why we had three remote controls.”

    • “Such a fantastic cottage, so well equipped. Lovely area to explore.”

    Mrs Walker, Kenilworth, August 2018

    • “Ivy cottage was a perfect cottage and base for us to visit our favourite beaches and places. The cottage was very well equipped with Denby crockery (which I was very careful with), amazingly comfy beds and soft White Company towels. They were the things that stood out. I bought quite a few things from home in case the cottage didn't have them but I was pleasantly surprised. Tea, coffee, sugar, dishwasher tabs, washing tabs, tea towels, milk in fridge & bottle of wine on the table. Fantastic!!! The metal bath tub was a huge hit with our girls. We loved the fire to keep us warm and cosy in the evenings. Loved being so close to Mothecombe beach, Bigbury on sea, Salcombe (The Winking Prawn) and Noss Mayo (The Ship Inn). A very relaxing break for our family.”
