    • “Lovely cottage in a wonderful little village”

    Mr Warren, SWANAGE, February 2019

    • “We had the most amazing stay in The Cottage, very well equipped. Sue the owner had decorated the cottage with lovely Xmas decorations. We lit the log fire everyday which was really good. The garden would be lovely to sit out in the summer. Cannot fault it, we all said the best cottage ever.”

    Mrs Gerrish, SWINDON, December 2018

    • “The cottage had everything you needed, warm cosy cottage to come back after days out on the coast. It was like being at home while on holiday.. The little touches, like dog towels etc were nice, I would definitely stay there again..”

    Mr Beckerley, Eastleigh, November 2018

    • “The Cottage is an exceptional holiday cottage. This is our second stay here which speaks for itself. It’s beautiful, cosy, welcoming and situated in an ideal location. We had the best family holiday here. We all love it here, even Griff our miniature Schnauzer loves it. It truly is a home from home !”

    Mrs Elks, Stoke-on-Trent, October 2018

    • “The cottage had everything you needed including a special basket for the dog with towels, doggie bags and treats. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and we have never had this before so thank you. This cottage comes highly recommended and is a real home from home.”

    Mrs Hunter, BIRMINGHAM, August 2018

    • “The owner was very helpful, the cottage was exceptionally clean and the garden was beautiful. The village pub was great for simple home cooked food, and it was nice to enjoy the local atmosphere there, and we loved the friendly farm dogs ready to great us. Much better than than some posh gastro pub charging a fortune for pretty the same thing.”

Mr Bowden, TUNBRIDGE WELLS, August 2018

    • “Lovely cottage. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend it. Only drawback may be access to rear garden from cottage. A lot of quite steep steps not really suitable for everyone.”

    Mrs Masters, Birmingham, June 2018

    • “The Cottage, Loddiswell, was a delight; very pretty, cosy and comfortable. Well appointed, clean and homely, it makes a peaceful retreat. The lovely, elevated, garden provides a wonderful refuge on a sunny day. I would highly recommend The Cottage, with the proviso that both the stairs,in this Grade 2 listed property, and the steeply terraced garden make access very difficult,if not impossible, for those with any mobility issues. The owner was very attentive and the tea tray and freshly cut flowers provided a lovely welcome. Thank you.”

    Ms Whitehouse, SHIFNAL, May 2018

    • “This was a very comfortable and well kept cottage with all the character of a grade 2 listed building but all the convenience of modern fittings. More like a family home than a holiday let. The stone spiral staircase is a real feature but could be an issue for the less agile. Likewise the beautifully kept garden, with many interesting features but plenty of steps. Probably the most 'dog friendly' cottage we have stayed in, with a complete kit of everything a dog needs including dog bed!”

    Mr Linecar, Battle, April 2018

    • “Very enjoyable experience and The Cottage was a delight to live in for the week.”

    Mr Muncer, BOURNEMOUTH, March 2018

    • “Facilities were as described and very good but the photo of the cottage looking like there was space around it rather than tightly packed in a narrow lane was misleading. Not Sykes fault but the other reservation we had was the owners rather twee crochet mats, random pots etc everywhere, way too much clutter although we appreciate if the owners use the cottage a lot that is there preferred style.”

    Mrs Pierson, Yeovil, January 2019
