“Yes it was a challenge booking the restaurant so ended up eating elsewhere most of the week.”

When we did book we had to change the time but it didn’t get passed onto the restaurant, then when we arrived they basically made us feel uncomfortable as they said we were late and they made us feel like they didn’t believe we had amended the time. When we did book we had to change the time but it didn’t get passed onto the restaurant, then when we arrived they basically made us feel uncomfortable as they said we were late and they made us feel like they didn’t believe we had amended the time. This was a meal for my 40th so made us feel very uncomfortable when we should have been celebrating. In addition there was no information in the lodge reference anything activities, eating times, etc. The WIFI went down with the landline on the 3rd day and there was no mobile signal making it impossible to even order a take away or book or look at activities locally. When we advised the hotel they just said o right ours is ok. As a result of that we cut our holiday short as not been able to organise food or activities made it very difficult. We had already gone a day without WIFI and it didn’t look like they were going to resolve. When we advised the hotel we wanted to checkout they tried to charge us for the nights we had stayed and we ended up having to prove that we had already paid in hindsight we should have asked for a refund due to the lack of service and having to checkout. When you book somewhere you expect to be able to eat there and have access to information and facilities. It was extremely disappointing and we will not be returning.
