Reviews

    • “Bovey Castle is beautiful and ideally located for exploring Dartmoor. This is the best cottage we have ever stayed in and no more expensive than I usually pay. It was very comfortable and very well equipped and it was great to be able to make use of the hotel’s facilities. You can park right outside to load and unload your bags and then there’s a proper car park a one minute walk away. Highly recommended.”

    Mrs Doye, London, August 2018

    • “Our third visit to Bovey Castle lodges as we have fallen in love with this place. Ideal place to meet up with family as the lodges are spacious enough to share. There is something for everyone at Bovey, with all age groups well catered for. A brilliant location to walk or cycle on Dartmoor would thoroughly recommend it.”

    Mrs Robinson, Camborne, May 2018

    • “Gorgeous venue spacious accommodation . Very helpful staff in the Hotel sorting out requests [like changing one cot for a small bed for our 4 yr old very readily and delivering dish washer tablets almost before we'd put the phone down] Lots of activities on site for under 5s as well as fit adults and less fit adults . Swimming pool a great bonus as well as golf /tennis/boules /croquet/ bluebell woods . Our grandchildren loved the chickens and ferrets and falconry displays . The Miniature Pony Centre next door was wonderful [no long journeys on narrow lanes]and gave them their own 'day out' while the rest of the party did a serious walk. We used the excellent BBQ 3 times . The fire in the sitting area was also lovely to have and our men liked the sky sports . It worked very well as a 3 generations family holiday . We are already working out when we will do it again maybe with serious walking friends and/or the all-ages family group.”

    Dr Vale, Hastings, May 2018

    • “This holiday was listed with helpful holidays at £1202 for the same week £200 cheaper!!!" Showers are not designed well shower lovely but sprays all out of the bath as well. Asked for household to sort out noisy pipes and keys never happened”

    Mr Kinghorn, Dunstable, September 2018
