The property

Set peacefully in seven acres of gentle parkland, The Quarters rests within the grounds of stunning Colley House on the fringes of the village of Tedburn St Mary.

Formerly the servants accommodation, The Quarters has been lavishly renovated - a perfect blend of contemporary luxury and classic period features creating an opulent townhouse with stately graces.

A sweeping, gated, private drive frequented by deer and wildlife, leads to your allocated parking area.

Enter at the ground floor where you're greeted by bespoke designer wallpaper, a Louis chandelier and upholstered bench where you can leave your outer wear, before heading up to the principal living areas.

Chic décor and sumptuous furnishings await in the elegant sitting room.

Here you'll find a plush Tetrad leather and fabric sofa and rustic leather armchairs gathered around a glass topped coffee table made from reclaimed Indian railway sleepers, and a 65' smart TV offering a full Sky TV package, as well many other streaming services.

Adjacent, is the stylish open-plan kitchen with dining area, beautifully-presented with contrasting dark grey wood fitted kitchen, complimented by sleek granite work surfaces.

A matching sleeper glass top dining table takes centre stage, providing the perfect social space to gather together and recount the day’s adventures.

Start your day in style in the pristine shower room featuring a roomy walk-in rainfall shower and Burlington sanitaryware for a touch of period luxury.

At the top of the house, the decadent bathroom with vanity basin and a fabulous roll-top bath is perfectly positioned to take in the views of the rolling Devon hills beyond.

For a blissful night's rest, choose from two bright and spacious king-size bedrooms, both thoughtfully laid-out with sumptuous Chesterfield armchairs and period cast iron original feature fireplaces, here you can fall asleep in cool, crisp linens under dark skies and wake to the sound of birdsong.

Across a neatly manicured courtyard is your outside space, equally as extravagant as the interior.

On the smart raised terrace, relax and take in the views from the deluxe Jacuzzi therapy spa.

With gentle jets and bubbling fountains, sooth away your cares whilst it plays your favourite tunes via a Bluetooth connection.

A summer cabin with sofa, Wi-Fi and TV are also available and provide a quiet space to work or simply retreat with a good book.

The estate comprises seven acres, which you are welcome to explore.

Head off on foot and take the short stroll into the village of Tedburn St Mary, where the high street is lined with pretty thatched cottages.

Indulge in a traditional pub lunch at The Red Lion Inn or the thatched Kings Arms.

The village also enjoys a local store which opens daily.

Discover local history at Tedburn St Mary Church, or play a round of golf at the family-owned Fingle Glen Golf Course.

Avid walkers will be delighted by the close proximity to the stunning Teign Valley, and the National Trusts Castle Drogo is sure to delight keen gardeners.

Rugged Dartmoor National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty and moorland landscape, with forests, rivers, wetlands and granite tors to explore is close at hand.

The Cathedral City of Exeter is on your doorstep, featuring a bustling high street lined with an array of shops, bars and restaurants.

Further afield, yet within an easy drive, is the seaside town of Exmouth, celebrated for its two miles of golden sand, and known as the gateway to the Jurassic Coast, beginning in Exmouth and continuing for 95 miles to Old Harry Rocks, Dorset.

However you choose to spend your time away, The Quarters offers a secure private luxurious accommodation that you'll be delighted to return to at the end of the day.
