  • “This was a fabulous first floor location in a large property located part way up a the side of a hill in a very pleasant suburb of Salcombe with an outstanding view from two accessible south-west facing balconies of the nearby South Sands beach and the English Channel as far as the horizon, especially enhanced when the sun was shining.”

    ...

The flat itself was very comfortable, clean and bright with adequate good quality modern furniture, carpeting and fittings and a well-stocked kitchen with all the usual modern facilities except perhaps a dishwasher which would have been useful, although not essential. It had easy parking for two cars, an easy access driveway and a well-maintained large garden. It is perhaps worth saying that it would not suit someone who finds steps a problem both externally due to its location on the hillside and internally for accessing the flat via a long, although nevertheless impressive, flight of stairs. We very much enjoyed our stay in the flat and in different circumstances could readily have taken up permanent residence there!!
