“Did have problems on first night no heating all radiators turned off so just light the fire.”

Television reception not to good. Dvd player but not working. Have to be mindful if you have dogs at the top of the garden they could jump down onto driveway. There are not many public footpaths so we had to walk on roads OK if you keep off the main road to Chagford its a good walk back roads but doable it's a lovely cottage would recommend a hoover and mop I like to keep tidy. Generally a great place just a fee issues

We are very pleased you enjoyed the cottage and hope the hamper and wood burning fire offset any discomfort of not having the radiators working fully the first night. We cannot find a plausible excuse as the heating system is relatively new and should have been set to come on all day but as we have had poor weather recently the clock may have reset. The route to Chagford and castle Drogo do require sections of the road to be traversed but hopefully the views and peaceful setting offset this and the exclusive access from the cottage to Spinsters Rock made the whole experience enjoyable. Finally, we appreciate your feedback and have since installed new Miele Hoovers and a mop in the cottage but did not initially have these in the cottage as they are fully serviced on arrival and on departure and we did not envisage you having to clean up, however, we can understand with the dogs this may have been necessary. We trust you will revisit the area and choose once again to stay at Spinsters or Cromlech Cottages. Owner relations
