    • “Super place to stay. Brief stroll into Tavistock, yet didn't feel as if we were in the town. Gorgeous views too.”

    Mr Hinton, Royston, October 2018

    • “Cartref is a lovely property on a quiet road on the edge of Tavistock, 10 minutes walk to the centre by road or the old railway line which has marvellous views over the town from the viaduct. Cartref is furnished with everything you might require and has TVs in every habitable room. Tavistock is a wonderful market town, lots of independent shops and an indoor market. Good walks along the River Tavy and canal in town and out into the countryside. Will be going back again.”

    Mr Tremeer, Hinckley, September 2018

    • “The house was comfortable and well laid out. It easily accommodated all the family from 2yr old to 60 yr old. We had everything we needed. We had a game between us trying to think of a utensil that was not provided. We thought we had a winner with a knife sharpener but when we searched we found one. Everything you need is in the house. We stayed for two weeks and we enjoyed our time there. Well done Morris and Sue in providing a lovely place to stay. Tavistock is a nice town to use as a base and there are plenty of places to visit close by.”

    Mr Gorman, MIDDLESBROUGH, August 2018

    • “The house was absolutely fantastic, everything had been thought about and catered for. It was clean, well equipped and a good base to explore the local sites.”

    Mrs Lawrance, Leicester, August 2018

    • “Outstanding property...Good to speak to the owner beforehand also. Great location and superb holiday .”

    Gooden, August 2018

    • “We had a wonderful time in Devon. ‘Cartref’ is the Welsh word for ‘home’ and it really was a home from home. We loved our stay there and hope to visit again next year.”

    Mrs Roberts, LLANGEFNI, July 2018

    • “We booked Cartref for our two sons and their families from Hong Kong & Scotland whilst visiting us in Tavistock. The house was amazing and had absolutely everything you could wish for. The interior is immaculate and has been modernised to a very high standard. The garden is a delight and wonderful for eating out when the weather is good. An added interest are the horses who’ll pop their heads over the fence to check out what’s going on! Tavistock, itself, is a delightful town and the Pannier Market is now open again after its mega renovation. The town is also ideal as a base for day trips across Devon & Cornwall - beaches, moors and towns. We had a fabulous week and, all in all, you’d have a hard job finding a better property!”

    Mrs Smith, Tavistock, July 2018

    • “Exceptionally lovely cottage - we had an amazing time.”

    Mrs Theobald, HALSTEAD, June 2018

    • “Second holiday at this wonderful house and everything was just as excellent as last time.”

    Mr Saunders, Petworth, June 2018

    • “Very comfortable and well equipped house in a lovely location. This was our second visit and I dare say we will return again... Tavistock is undergoing a great deal of lottery funded improvements at the moment meaning the wonderful markets have relocated and the leisure centre is also having work done. Should be amazing when it is all finished.”

    Mr Iles, SHIFNAL, April 2018

    • “It’s hard not to give this property 10/10 . It really is Home from home .”

    Mr Cooper, Guildford, May 2018
