    • “This is our second Christmas holiday at this beautiful house. We absolutely love it. Very warm, beautifully decorated, lovely kitchen with lots of equipment and utensils. There is a lovely view out of the back. Very quiet and yet within walking distance of the town centre. Even put up a Christmas tree for us. It is in a close so very hard to turn a car around in it but managed. As mentioned last year, there was only a couple of logs for the fire and they were damp. It would be good to have a really decent supply of dry logs in the middle of winter as the log fire is a real attraction. There is no wifi here but there are the main tv stations. Little things like be good to have a couple of extra towels so one could act as a bath mat. No dishwasher tablets. Otherwise we absolutely love this house and am sure we will be back again.”

    Mrs Howard, Bristol, December 2018

    • “Although we would return to the property as it has a nice feel to it, lovely views and nice position, we would have to comment about the freezer and washing machine being in the garage which can only be accessed using the outside garage door. WiFi is not supplied, however, we were aware of this, but possibly for a family using the house this would be a necessity. The exterior of the property is in need of some attention. This is our second visit and we would certainly consider returning again.”

    Mr Broom, Horley, October 2018

    • “Good location, but no wi-fi - in 2018!!! While we all need to spend less time on our phones, not having wi-fi is also massively inconvenient. Needs to be sorted out or they will lose business.”

    Ms Pearce, HODDESDON, September 2018

    • “A peaceful location so close to the town, idyllic. Comfortable accommodation with a beautiful garden, a good place for bird watching.”

    Mrs Norton, STROUD, June 2018

    • “Property situated in a good location within a 15 minute walk to the centre of Tavistock. Very comfortable throughout although in places draughty due to the age of the property. Irritating that to access the large fridge/freezer and the washing machine you could only do this through the main up and over garage door, so during snow and wet weather pretty inconvenient. The freezer also had some half used food within it, which was a little off putting. The kitchen was well equipped, but had obviously not been checked, as the Cafietiere glass was cracked, and so there was no means to make proper coffee. Also the addition of a Pyrex bowl would have been useful. Very little fuel provided for the open fire - a couple of damp logs. However, even with the above comments we would return.”

    Mr Broom, Horley, March 2018
