    • “A lovely property which is ideal for a large family gathering”

    Mr Neve, 2073, December 2018

    • “Comfortable well appointed house ideal for our regular family gathering. Both fires made up ready to be lit. Good food pub two doors away. Seaside 1 mile. Busy A35 directly outside but little noise interference. Good parking but fairly narrow access off main road.”

    Mr Johnston, Marlborough, November 2018

    • “Park Farmhouse in Chideok was the perfect place to celebrate my 65th Birthday with family & friends. Great location with close access to the beach at Seatown (20mins walking) & West Bay & Bridport which is 10 mins drive or taking the local bus (bus stops outside the cottage)”

    Mrs Brooks, Bristol, November 2018

    • “We had a fantastic weekend at Park Farmhouse in November which began with a friendly, welcoming phone call from the owners shortly after our arrival to check that everything was ok. It was an ideal setting for a large family gathering, really well equipped, all 16 of us had boiled eggs for one of the breakfasts! The house was very comfortable (including the beds!), with nice, good quality furnishings while also feeling relaxed, spacious but cosy. Two sitting rooms both with fires and ample comfortable sofas were pleasant in the evenings. There was something for everyone; the lads had a table tennis tournament, nearly everyone got in the pool, the garden was secure for the dogs and the playroom in the house was very popular with chess being played by the youngsters. It is also in a beautiful spot, with lovely walks from the door. Despite being close to the main road we could hardly hear a thing due to the thick walls and good glazing. Very much recommended!”

    Mrs Miller, Bristol, November 2018

    • “Had a very happy Ninetieth family holiday, loved the pool.”

    Mr Homewood, Folkestone, September 2018

    • “I have given Helpful Holidays an "extremely likely" for recommendation to others but cannot extend this to Sykes Holidays. The service has changed dramatically and certainly far below previous high standards of Helpful Holidays. I was unable to get answers to queries and kept on the telephone for ages. The person dealing with the queries was unable to answer them without referring to a Manager. The website for Sykes holidays is very poor in comparison to Helpful Holidays. This is so sad having used Helpful Holidays for many years. Park Farmhouse is an excellent holiday home and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Such a well equipped kitchen when catering for 15 people. Perfect location and very comfortable. Thank you”

    Mrs Mitchell, Ashford, September 2018

    • “Great house, perfect for a large family holiday. House has everything you could ever need. Swimming pool is great to have and pub next door is lovely. A car is a must have for this property. The road outside is very busy.”

    Mrs Tillbrook, READING, August 2018

    • “The house was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. We had difficulty operating the washer/dryer, and felt that for so many people a very simple separate washing machine and separate tumble dryer would have been more efficient.”

    Theeman, August 2018

    • “Superb accommodation for celebration and large family group. Farmhouse superbly equipped and high standard inside. Pool and garden excellent. Great for all ages. The family loved it.”

    Hartwell, Kings Norton, July 2018

    • “This is an amazing house for a family holiday. The swimming pool is a real bonus. Lots of separate areas and something for everyone. Comfortable beds, top rate kitchen with everything in abundance.”

    Mrs Miller, Canterbury, July 2018
