Reviews

    • “We have rented many holiday cottages but Magnolia Cottage was the loveliest one we have stayed in. The cottage is beautifully furnished and is very well equipped. It is in a great location - halfway between Bath and Wells and in a lovely village with 2 great pubs and an award winning cafe. Best of all our hosts could not have been more welcoming. We only came home yesterday but have already recommended this cottage to several of my friends.”

    Mrs Manley, Manchester, November 2018

    • “Magnolia Cottage was immaculate, comfortable and the owners have really thought of their guests. A great location from where you can visit some wonderful places in Somerset and surrounding areas. The local residents were very friendly and there are some very pretty walks in the village.”

    Mrs Clarke, Brighton, October 2018

    • “Magnolia Cottage is beautiful; clean, comfortable, spacious - lovely to return to after a day out visiting the many attractions on the doorstep. Bristol, Bath, Glastonbury and National Trust properties such as Tyntesfield, Stourhead, Lacock Abbey & village all within easy reach. Would highly recommend Magnolia Cottage to stay at.”

    Mr Dewhurst, Tonbridge, October 2018

    • “A lovely comfortable, light and airy cottage excellently located for exploring Somerset's major attractions”

    Mrs Miller, Cambridge, August 2018

    • “We were there because of our Son and granddaughter. They live in Bristol and we help them with their new house and taking care of their baby. We liked The surroundings of Chilcompton very much. So its most likely we will come back some day. Kind regards, Will”

    Mr Troch, Rotterdam, July 2018

    • “The cottage was excellent, just as advertised, lovely and clean, everything you would need for a fabulous break. Beverly was very helpful and friendly.”

    Mr Rubbins, Swaffham, June 2018

    • “Beautiful spacious and comfortable cottage. Must say the bed gets ll/10 for comfort! A very warm welcome from the owner Beverley with some delicious home baked biscuits. Comprehensive folder of information on everything you would need to know for your stay. A very pretty village with 2 nice but very different pubs, a good size Co-Op and within easy reach of larger towns. If you like walking be sure to use the map of the footpaths around the village.”

Mrs Read, SOUTH CROYDON, June 2018

    • “The description of the property gives you a misleading picture of the position of the cottage. The outer wall forms the boundary with the road outside which is used as a rat run for traffic all hours of the day and night. Had we known the layout of the cottage we would have chosen an alternative property.”

    Mr Saunders, Christchurch, September 2018
