“The Chapel is an excellent place to unwind, recharge the batteries and chill out.”
We did not miss not having a television which would have ruined the peaceful nature of the place. A good base to explore the area. The owners are lovely, there if you need them but unobtrusive. Lovely welcoming touches of fresh flowers, milk in the fridge and lots of beautiful hand made soaps and pure white towels in the bathrooms. What a place, we will return.

“A classy chapel and chilled out break”
Thanks to Teresa and Simon for their friendly hospitality and amazing attention to detail on their stunning chapel conversion. What a lovely place to hang out with great acoustics and cool design touches (check out Teresa’s stunning photos and about the story behind them). A lovely base to explore the Jurassic Coast - Weymouth, Poole, Lulworth Cove all nearby. We even had a great laugh with our teenagers at the local adventure centre on a fab farm - check out the relaxed team at Gorcombe Extreme Sports (pioneering crazy foot golf ⚽️ ⛳️)- A Holiday Lettings verified reviewer, August 2019
“Superb holiday cottage, we enjoyed every moment of our stay in The Chapel.”
The village is well located to visit the Jurassic Coast (East and West), the Dorchester area (Hardy's cottage, Max Gate, Maiden Castle, Milton Abbey), and highlights farther away (Stourhead, Isle of Wight). Both region and cottage: highly recommended.- Mrs De Baere, August 2019
“Fantastic building, lovely hosts and some lovely little details that made the holiday special.”
Well placed to visit much if the Jurassic coast.- Mrs Jenkins, July 2019
“Immaculate, stylish and comfortable accommodation.”

“The chapel is lovely and my family and I had a great short break there.”
It’s very well appointed and beautifully renovated. The layout is great fun and our 7 and 10 year old girls loved it too. Highly recommended.- Mr Newbury, April 2019

Kortom, wij komen zeker weer terug in The Chapel!- robertvN3815WR, August 2018
“Holiday in the "Chapel" - Milbourne St.”
Andrews We drove to Dorset in anticipation of this extraordinary accommodation. Our expectations were even exceeded! What a vacation. A fantastic house, more than helpful and friendly hosts and a landscape that is unparalleled. The Chapel is an unsurpassed starting point for those who are looking for relaxation in breathtaking nature and tranquillity, but also for activity. 10 out of 10 points. Plus X! Anette & Frank (Germany)- Mr Stuermer, June 2018
“The Chapel was in the perfect location for us, near to all the things we wanted to do, and lovely and comfortable to come back to at the end of the day.”- Mrs Mordue, May 2018
“Simon and Teresa put a very personal touch to our arrival.”
A cake, flowers and handmade soaps. A wonderful and unexpected surprise. They were very helpful and friendly. Offering advise on cycle routes, places to visit and pubs! We very much enjoyed staying at the Chapel. It was an excellent base and allowed us easy access to Dorset's many attractions. The Chapel is an amazing place to stay in, and it was lovely to meet Simon and Teresa- Mrs Harris, March 2018
The Chapel is a wonderful location in the heart of Dorset. The conversation is unique and offers wonderful accommodation up 2 tall spiral staircases. These are a little daunting at first, but you soon get used to them. The under floor heating and log burner mean the chapel is cosy and warm. There's plenty of space and the owners were fabulous too!- petespapa, April 2017

“wonderful holiday rental in East Dorset”
An exceptional property in great location for exploring Dorset. Poundberry, Maiden and Corfe Castles, Monkey World (a monkey rescue centre) and Bovington Tank Museum. A converted chapel that is even better than it looks in pictures. Facilities and attention to detail are wonderful. Cake and flowers to greet us and very helpful maps, books and games to use. We stayed with our 14 year old son and our hosts had thoughtfully provided him with a few sweets and an age appropriate book to read. Log fire and top quality kitchen made for very cosy evenings. Location is perfect for exploring the coast, local villages, and sites of interest. Highly recommended.- Bryan M, October 2015
Thank you very much for your kind feedback. The Chapel is indeed in the perfect location for exploring the local attractions. What a delight to arrive to a welcoming cake and flowers, and it sounds as if the owners had added a thoughtful and personal touch for your son. Owner relations
