The property

Looking forward to spending time away, where else would you want to be than within close proximity to a magnificent stretch of coastline in a destination that encompasses easy touring around the fascinating west of Cornwall.

Discover the windswept landscape, ancient villages and rugged coves of the Penwith Peninsula by driving the coast road from St Ives to Lands End.

Spending a day in St Ives wandering through the charismatic cobbled streets, browsing in its art galleries or enjoying a meal in one of the many seafood restaurants is a must and to avoid the difficulties of parking, catching the coastal train from Lelant to St Ives is a lovely way to travel. Less than three miles from Hayle and Gwithian, Angarrack Farmhouse Cottages lie on the edge of the village within easy reach of great eateries, including the nearby Angarrack Inn.

The Christmas lights of Angarrack are a very special attraction and after a walk around the village you can return to the warmth of a wood burner. GODREVY BARN is a delightful white rendered single storey pied-a-terre with its own private patio for couples to return and luxuriate in the swirling waters of a hot tub after an exhilarating day by the sea, who could wish for more.

Designed for modern day and stylishly open plan to maximise space the living room incorporates a well equipped kitchen and dining area at one end, with comfortable sofas set in front of wood burning stove on a slate hearth at the other.

Next there is a smart neutral stone tiled shower room followed by a bedroom boasting a tastefully dressed Canadian oak king size bed.

Set adjacent to Godrevy Cottage, both properties can be booked together if required.

There is private parking for one car.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £100.

About the location

HAYLE

St Ives 6.3 miles; Penzance 7.4 miles.

Hayle is in the far-flung south western corner of Cornwall and sits on an important RSPB wildlife estuary flowing out to the beautiful St Ives Bay, where visitors can enjoy three miles of golden sandy beaches, walks, history and wildlife. Hayle has plenty of activities out of the water too; Paradise Park is a wildlife park, home to some spectacular parrots, otters and red pandas. Hayle has a range of shops, restaurants and bars scattered around the estuary and harbour area. There are skittles and karting for the family, and for golfers, one of the best links golf courses in Cornwall is at Lelant, a mile out of Hayle. But the jewel of Hayle is the three miles of golden sandy beach, with fantastic surfing at Gwithian where there is a surf shop, lessons and hire of equipment. For the less energetic there are beach cafes where you can take in the views and watch the children play. As Hayle is centrally located you can easily access many other places by either public transport (there is a train station at Hayle) or driving. St. Ives is a short drive away where you can wander through the narrow streets, visit the art galleries or admire the colourful sub tropical gardens. St Ives harbour has its own small fishing fleet and there are plentiful boat trips skippered by locals keen to showcase the best that Cornwall has to offer, whether it be seal watching at Seal Island, a couple of hours' mackerel fishing or a relaxing trip to Godrevy Lighthouse. Within easy reach of Hayle is the Minack Theatre (35 mins), Falmouth Maritime Museum (40 mins), Eden Project (40 mins), St. Michael’s Mount (15 mins) and many other fantastic tourist attractions for dry or wet days.

Note: Babies welcome, regretfully no children over the age of two years.
Note: £100 Good Housing keeping Bond
Note: Any stays booked for the winter period (November To February), inclusion of the Hot Tub will be with a £42 charge, Please ensure you select this option during the booking process.
