    “Lovely one bedroom lodge.”

Very clean and a well equipped kitchen with everything you would need and an added bonus was an under cover BBQ. Hot tub was under cover with fairy lights, which was so lovely. The hot tub was cleaned twice a day, so was immaculate. Very private as is surrounded by high fencing. Bedroom and bathroom are absolutely fine for 2 people and plenty of storage for clothes. We stayed for a week and staff were all lovely and helpful but not intrusive. Good communication during our stay from the ...

We stayed for a week and staff were all lovely and helpful but not intrusive. Good communication during our stay from the owner. Lots to do in the surrounding area. We loved hearing the Gibbons every morning and afternoon from the Wildlife Park across the road. Definitely worth a visit, as is a trip on the Somerset West Railway and a visit to Fossil Beach. Perfect lodge for a romantic break. Will look forward to retuning. Definitely recommend.

Alternatively, Washford is only a 10-15 minute walk away.

There are a range of energising walks with phenomenal views in the local area.

You are ideally positioned for exploring the delightful nearby sandy beaches, great for spending the day topping up on that tan, or learning to surf in the water.

The Tropiquaria Wildlife Park, a family-friendly zoo, is only within a short walking-distance from your lodge so a visit cannot go amiss: you can get up close with the extensive range of exotic reptiles, birds and a tropical aquarium.

Additionally, if you feel like immersing yourself in a range of invigorating activities, there is a wealth of options in the area, from clay-pigeon shooting, CO2 shooting and archery to horse riding and sea fishing.

Dunster Castle is also a National Trust treasure and West Somerset Railway both make lovely days out for families and couples alike.

Too much to discover in one location, you'll find it difficult to fit everything into one trip!
