The sitting room enjoys views of the large, lawned garden through the French doors.

Swings and a slide allow the little ones to burn off some energy, whilst the rest of the party keep an eye on them as they discuss what attractions they'd like to visit.

There is also a secure garden shed with ground anchor for bikes within the lockable rear garden, and a hose for cleaning up after a day out biking or at the beach.

All this before venturing upstairs to enjoy a good night's sleep in one of the three cosy bedrooms.

With an enclosed garden and a cul-de-sac setting, Tús Nua cottage is ideally suited to those travelling with young children.

This seaside location is just a very short drive to the coast and lovely beaches, including the beach at Minehead.

About the location

CARHAMPTON

Dunster 1.6 miles; Minehead 4 miles.

Carhampton is an attractive village close to the Exmoor National Park, with a church, pub, village store, community orchard and Post Office. There are lovely walks from the village, over the deer park to Dunster, and through farmland to the beach. The village is less than 4 miles from the popular seaside resort of Minehead, which occupies a wonderful sheltered spot beneath the dramatic North Hill, on the lovely West Somerset coast. This welcoming town boasts a mile-long esplanade, providing a wonderful backdrop to the golden beach, whilst the pretty harbour, visited in the summer by the famous paddle steamer Waverley, offers excellent fishing opportunities. Enjoy a nostalgic steam train journey from the seafront on the West Somerset Railway, or visit Blenheim Gardens, winner of many awards for its beautiful floral displays. Renowned for the largest herd of red deer in England, Exmoor National Park with its wooded valleys, pretty bridle paths and heather-clad moors, is well worth a visit, whilst the magnificent Norman Castle at nearby Dunster is a must.
