The property

It's more about boat watching than people watching from The Lookout and from its vantage point overlooking the Falmouth Estuary, this spacious apartment really does live up to its name.

The magnificent harbour below is filled with craft from dinghys to super yachts and even the odd cruise liner or battle ship.

Just moments from the centre of bustling Falmouth, an easy stroll will bring you to boutiques, antique and curio shops and artisan delicatessens.

Bar and café culture is very much alive in the town with a dazzling array of options from cappuccinos and cream teas to cocktails and canapés.

Falmouth is a fantastic destination for families with activities for all weathers; relax on one of the three sandy beaches at Swanpool, Gyllyngvase and Maenporth or try your hand at kayaking, sailing or diving at one of the water sport centres in the town.

The Medieval Pendennis Castle, The National Maritime Museum and Ships and Castles Leisure Centre are also great options for fun on those rainy days.

A boat trip is a must when in Falmouth; departing regularly from the town quay, there are plenty of options for exploring the beautiful hidden creeks of the Carrick Roads or Helford River with stops at pretty riverside inns along the way. The Lookout is part of the prestigious Packet Quays development and standing at the bank of windows in the vast sitting room overlooking the water gives the distinct feeling of being at the bridge of a ship.

A vaulted ceiling adds to the tremendous feeling of space in this room which forms the heart of the apartment.

The kitchen enjoys a similar dramatic outlook and there are two terraces catering for both morning and evening sun, each equipped with garden furniture and colourful plants.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £100.
