Children Making Christmas Cards
Helpful Holidays are pleased to once again host our annual art competition, offering children across Devon the chance to design our 2024 Christmas card.

One lucky winner will receive art supplies worth £50, a bundle of Christmas cards featuring their design, and £200 towards their school or setting’s art department.

This year, in celebration of the RNLI’s 200th anniversary, we would like to invite you to get involved and design something festive with a ‘safety at sea’ twist!

  • Please include your name, age and school on your entry form.

All entries need to be submitted via email by 25th October 2024 at the latest, in time for judging. The winner will be chosen and advised early in November.

Please email your entries or any queries to: victoria.rogers@sykescottages.co.uk.

Competition Theme

In celebration of their 200th anniversary, we would love it if you could think about the RNLI as a theme, and create a card design that not only depicts Christmas and the local area, but also celebrates their tireless work, keeping people safe on our beautiful coastline.

Why not draw your local lifeboat with twinkling lights and a Christmas tree in the background? Or perhaps show RNLI volunteers in festive hats singing carols… be as creative as you wish!

Additional Information

Please hold on to your original creation – if you win, we may need the original artwork to produce the Christmas cards.

We plan to feature the winner’s name, age, and school on the Christmas card. We’ll also announce the winner on social media and in the press. It’s crucial to obtain consent from the parents or guardians of every child participating. In cases where consent isn’t given, please make a note on the entry form if the child has written their name.
