Warm and welcoming, the bright and airy seating area centres around a roaring wood burning stove, making this the perfect spot curl up in front of a good film on the smart TV before retiring to one of two pretty bedrooms. Outside is a suntrap seating area - perfect for dining al fresco and you are of course welcome to use and explore all of the wonderful facilities that Trenannick has to offer. We (2 adults and 2 children, age 9 and 14) spent a relaxing six nights at Ash Cottage in mid July.
Nick and Jules were lovely hosts, making us feel right at home. The cottage and grounds are just like the pictures (minus the chickens who sadly are no more!). My girls loved going off to play table tennis in the outbuildings, whilst I sat at the picnic table in the little front garden of the cottage. I particularly enjoyed returning to the quiet and peaceful surroundings after our days out exploring the area (we visited Port Isaac, Boscastle, Bude, Widemouth Bay, Trebarwith Strand and Tintagel - all of which were easy to get to without long drives). We were also very lucky to be staying when there was morris dancing taking place at the local pub - Nick and Jules gave us all the info and we had a great evening enjoying the spectacle and listening to the traditional music. But the stars of Trenannick Farm Cottages must be the three alpacas - these beautiful creatures were a delight and we were allowed to feed them and take them on a little walk around the farm grounds - wonderful!!

We had a brilliant stay at Ash Cottage.
Had all we needed in the cottage, extras too such as a wetsuit wash and fire pit. We spent lots of time at the beach and then had lovely evenings by the fire outdoors and then indoors. The owners are so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much to ask. We highly recommend this cottage for visiting all of Cornwall as it’s easy to get to the main routes as well as near some great beaches.
