Little Leighs

We had a lovely stay at Little Leigh’s whilst visiting the Royal Cornwall Show as a gift from our son.

The cottage was very cosy and welcoming. The owners Nic and Jules welcomed us on arrival and were very friendly. They had clearly spent a lot of effort in making the accommodation home from home. The gardens were very peaceful and we enjoyed meeting the chickens and alpacas. We would love to return. Paul and Carole

What a beautiful place, the cottages are spotless clean and well maintained and nothing is too much trouble for the hosts Nick and Jules who go the extra mile to ensure your holiday is perfect, including the welcome cake which was very much appreciated The ideal location to visit the beaches and history of Cornwall or to sit in the amazing gardens and relax.

The hosts have thought of everything, lovely play area for the children, outside games room and not forgetting the beautiful Alpacas and chickens on site. Just amazing and we will definitely return and can't recommend Little Leigh's or its sister cottages enough.

Lovely cottage had a lovely week owner very nice we had a issue with a blind and they came to see to the issue which was very minor sorted right away upstairs was alot wamer than downstairs but soon worked out the heating system space when it comes to disabled access is a little tight mainly in bathroom with a walker but it's definitely managable very clean one morning the alpacas came out to play in the communal garden which was very fun to watch then was allowed to hand feed them with owner most evenings we done the short drive 15 minutes to Boscastle to eat at The Cobweb which we highly recommend good variety and great quality and meals sizes are really good and I'm a very picky eater absolutely fabulous week away even though some of the family went home early because of elderly dog and work commitments but everyone had a fantastic time which is what matters thank you

Beautiful cottage in an idyllic and tranquil setting.

It had all the amenities we needed and was in a great location. The south West coast is stunning and there are so many lovely places to visit. Little Leighs is now one of my favourite holiday cottages and I would happily recommend it. Walk with the alpacas was a lovely extra! Thank you Nick and Jules for being such welcoming hosts.

Great cottage in such a lovely location in Cornwall- with a short drive to several stunning beaches.

The Alpacas, games room, BBQ, fire pit and play area meant that the whole family were entertained throughout our holiday- would definitely recommend.

The perfect holiday for families - the children (and parents) loved the freedom of the green area for playing. The alpacas are charming and quite comical. Super outside spaces - the idea of the freedom of camping but with the comfort of a cottage to sleep in! The hosts are so friendly and approachable.

From the moment we arrived to a warm friendly welcome from Jules, Nick and the chickens we knew we were going to have a fantastic holiday.

Cottage was comfortable, well equipped and homely. Gardens and games area were brilliant for our children. Highlight was the opportunity to walk the gorgeous alpacas. Highly recommend, we hope to return.

Could be improved with a dishwasher in the kitchen, otherwise everything was there.

Lovely place for families with children or people just wanting a rural place to relax.

Lots of places within 30 drive. The Napoleon and the Cobweb pubs in Boscastle are great places to eat and drink. Owners Nick and Jules are lovely folk and very helpful.

We have just spent a week at Trenannick Farm and stayed in Little Leigh’s cottage.

It was perfect! We were given a warm and friendly welcome from Nick and Jules. The cake and fresh eggs were an added bonus. The cottage was clean, warm and cosy and had plenty of space for our family of 5 and 2 dogs. It was like a real home from home and had everything you could think of. The surroundings are beautiful! From entering the drive to the play and eating area it’s all well kept. My children really enjoyed the play room especially the darts and table tennis and we even had a game of boules. Nick and Jules were kind enough to let them walk the Alpacas. It was our first visit to Cornwall and we wanted to visit some of the local areas and Trenannick was the perfect base for that. There was an handy guide that they had put together to give us ideas of what to do or where to go and where the nearest shops, supermarkets and restaurants are which was very helpful! It was always nice when we got back to have a chat with Nick about where we had been that day. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you Nick and Jules.

My husband, myself, daughter and our 3 Labradors just spent a week at Little Leigh’s.

The cottage was amazing and will certainly be our place to go on future visits to Cornwall. Absolutely immaculate & very cosy in front of the log burner in the evenings. Beautiful gardens with BBQ’s, swings and slides for the kids. Many mornings the 3 Alpacas would be grazing in the garden outside the cottage and we would be greeted everyday by the chickens and Phoebe the cat. Nick and Jules are the loveliest people and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. They are very knowledgable about the area and gave us some great recommendations for pubs, beaches and farm shops. All in all just a fabulous stay. We didn’t want to go home. We will be back very soon.

We had the most wonderful stay at Little Leigh's this past week.

Jules and Nick are kind, knowledgable and gracious hosts. From the moment we arrived, we were met with the most beautiful surroundings, stunning well-equipped cottage and the kindest hospitality. The cottage and grounds are perfect for families with a built-in play area, variety of outdoor cozy seating areas and a menagerie of gorgeous animals. The location is perfect for exploring North and South Cornwall. Nick and Jules are so knowledgeable and were on hand to provide great tips for exploring the area. The cottage is lovely and has all the amenities needed. We would highly recommend to everyone! Huge thanks to Nick and Jules who were exceptionally kind to us and our young son. The alpacas were the firm favourite and we are very grateful for the opportunity to walk and learn more about them. Our son is still talking about the fun he had with Nick, Jules and the alpacas! Memories made here will live on for a long time! This cottage and the hosts are truly exceptional and we can't wait to visit again! Thanks so much for the wonderful time!

We had a very lovely, warm welcome from Jules and Nick on arrival.

Such a beautiful cottage in an idyllic setting. The cottage is quaint, warm and comfortable and has everything you need for a break away from the norm. We were met with a scrumptious cake which we promptly demolished with a well deserved cup of cha and eggs from the cute chickens which made for an amazing first brekky. We were given access to their delightful Alpacas and the children got to walk them, which was a real treat! The cottage is located close to many tourist destinations which is definitely a bonus. This is a special hidden gem and we thoroughly recommend a visit. Thank you so much for having us and for your informative knowledge about the area xxx Naaz

Really nice place, Jules and Nick are both very friendly and welcoming.

I would recommend to anyone especially suitable for families and you can also take you dog.

We stayed in little leighs for a fortnight had the most wonderful weeks there .

Such a tranquil place a 'home' from home and the loveliest hosts jules&nick who realy supplied us with everything we needed.we felt so very much at home and we surely come back.

The location of the cottage was perfect for us, very quiet with plenty of outside space for our two dogs and not far from the coast.

We will definitely be visiting again.

The location is very peaceful with an abundance of wildlife. A charming place for a stay away from the crowds in Cornwall within easy access to some of the less crowded beaches.
