This offers a welcoming space to rest after days spent exploring the surrounding moorland.
Stairs lead down to the double bedroom and a shower room fitted with a walk‑in shower, basin, and WC, providing a practical arrangement for guests.
Please note the ceiling in the bathroom is quite low, which is not an issue for most guests but could be inconvenient if very tall.
The kitchen is neatly arranged for preparing meals, while the dining area offers space to sit down together.
The sitting area is centred around a woodburning stove, creating an inviting spot to relax with the Smart TV after time outdoors.
Outside, Lustleigh Mill Barn benefits from an enclosed garden and patio with furniture, providing a pleasant place to enjoy fresh air throughout the day.
A designated off‑road parking space for one car is available by the property.
A shop, pub and tea room (seasonal) are within walking distance, making it easy to enjoy village amenities, while Bovey Tracey and Moretonhampstead offer further options for dining and browsing independent shops.

From the first day we were blown away by the views from the garden.
The little barn was presented immaculately with most everything you would need for a stay. I would say the bed was the most comfortable we had ever slept in. The village was a short walk away with a great pub serving lovely reasonable food. Very pretty village with store and afternoon tea rooms. The sound of bells from the church ringing across the village was unforgettable In all a very enjoyable weeks stay. Thank you
Extremely clean, well maintained and very well equipped.
Located in a perfect remote location but close enough to facilities, friendly locals, excellent directions for local walks provided (which are very well worth doing). The cottage is perfectly situated for visiting Dartmoor and other other South Devon attractions. A visit to the local pub and tea rooms is a must. If you want a break from the rat race this is an ideal spot.
Lustleigh is a beautiful place.
Very peaceful. (Roads a little narrow but manageable in our estate) We stayed at Mill Barn with our two dogs. Beautiful little barn conversion. Owners introduced themselves on arrival, lovely couple, but then left us to it. Could call on them if needed. Mill barn is beautifully presented, info pack provided. Heating a bit complicated so didn't bother, log burner lovely, all set up ready to light. Dogs walks right on the door step. Village/shop within walking distance. Everything in the barn appeared to be new and the shower is lovely. I wouldn't say the garden was 100% secure. If you have an escape artist they will get out! Our two needed constant supervision but relaxed into their new environment and loved the walks. Steps down to the barn and stairs down to the bathroom so if you have mobility issues it may not be for you. We would definately stay there again. Thankyou to the owners for a peaceful, relaxing stay.
