Description

Attached to the owners' home, this lovely cottage provides cosy and comfortable accommodation in a rural location set in Bradford, North Devon.

Set on a smallholding with plenty of sheep, chickens, (eggs available) ducks and geese and offering a truly countryside break but with easy access to the beautiful coastal areas, it's a peaceful location for a family or couples holiday.

Two lovely bedrooms await you, and the open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area is comfortable and snug with a wood burning stove.

Step through the patio doors and enjoy an enclosed garden with views across the fields, perfect for that glass of wine at the end of a busy day touring.

Bradford is a small village just 6 miles from the market town of Holsworthy where you can get all grocery needs.

A 30 minute drive will take you the amazing sandy beaches along the North Devon and Cornwall coast where you can laze in the sun or try your hand at some surfing.

A terrific choice for lovers of the great outdoors.

We had a lovely week in this really sweet, comfortable cottage.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and felt very at home. Watching all the different birds on the feeders in the garden was a particular treat - so many goldfinches and even a nuthatch. Charlie and Sally made us feel very welcome and we’d love to come back some time.

This an old word cottage, it is so cute and has all that you could want and if not just ask Charlie and Sally, they will do their best for you to be satisfied.

To mention satisfaction, there was lovely home made scones and jam, and clotted cream on a tray for us when we arrived. Must admit they were very good and much appreciated. We were accompanied by our dog, quite medium and tends to leave her white hairs where she ever goes. The walk just nearby was very good as long as you keep off the farm land. Our girl was happy to find she could be off lead when we were no way near the fields. So in all all was happy and enjoyed our short break, so glad we stayed there.
