A fabulous property with everything you could need , relaxing and peaceful surroundings great exercise field for our dog and an enclosed rear garden on the cottage as well doggie heaven , really friendly hosts Paul and Sian what more could we have asked for will be back again soon .

Lovely accommodation in a nice friendly setting 2nd time we have visited On this particular property there was no back door to visit back garden This never spoiled our stay, just better had it had a back door Will visit again in the future

Fantastic little complex.

Beautifully laid out and maintained and the owners did everything and more to ensure one’s visit was happy and enjoyable. The cottage was immaculately clean and very well furnished and equipped. There was a dog walking field with poo bin provided and also a small back garden to enjoy. There was a utility area and freezer available. The cottage was extremely comfortable and in the 10 plus years x twice a year I have holidayed through Sykes this came top of my list. Lovely and thank you Very much appreciated. C.McLeod

Clean quiet and well equipped.

Great for dogs. Queries answered by text very quickly. Ideal position for beaches and other attractions. The only downside was the potholes on surrounding roads which the owner had no control over. Would love to return

Very comfortable cottage with everything we needed.

Nice quiet location but lots of amenities within a few miles. Very close to Tamar Lakes with water sports, bird watching and walks. Bude, Hartland area and majestic coastline close by. Especially liked dog walking field and enclosed garden but would have given 5 * if you could access garden directly from cottage.

This property is ideal for those wanting to be off the beaten track.

It is situated in a beautiful rural, quiet location overlooking the Upper Tamar Lake. You are close enough to the commerciised coastal attractions to explore them without being too close. The bungalow was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The added bonus was having an enclosed field to exercise the dog each evening. We enjoyed our stay and thank the owners for helping make this such an enjoyable break.

We loved every minute. Paul and Sian couldn't have been more helpful. We totally recommend.

Excellent holiday cottage for two

Lovely cottage,really clean & comfortable,surroundings lovely and great enclosed garden and enclosed field to use on site a bonus with Llama,sheep, goats & chickens for neighbours!

If you are looking for somewhere relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place, but still only a short distance away from the major attractions of the area.

This property was lovely, clean and well maintained.

The areas these properties are set in are quiet, well maintained beautiful gardens. When we were there the plants were full of bees buzzing. The owners are friendly and pleasant always ready for a chat. I would highly recommend these cottages and we will return.

The cottage was more than we could have expected.

The owners so very friendly and welcoming. The cottage with its own small garden to walk the dog in the morning. Then an enclosed field to let the dog off and safely run around was just amazing. From the goats to the Lama's and totally peaceful in the countryside it’s a place to visit. Great home facility’s along with washer and dryer for the wet days was just the icing on the cake. We could not have asked for more..

Great for those with dogs and anyone seeking peace and quiet. Nearby water park and fantastic pub in Bradworthy top off a wonderful holiday. Highly recommended.

The property is in a place that is quiet and dark.

Suited us just fine. It is sited such that there are many interesting places to visit within easy driving distance.Sian and Paul were ever helpful. Only real problem was the heating. It was cold/very cold for our visit. The heating available was not suficient to keep the house at a comfortable temperature. Would we return - very likely.

We have just returned back from Wagtails cottage 27th August 21.

The cottage was extremely clean tidy & well equipped, although dog friendly no sign of dog hairs or smells. The facilities on site was very well thought out, ie laundry room & field for dogs. Sian & Paul are new owners who were extremely helpful & friendly nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely be back.
