Still Waters

Stillwaters is a beautiful property, thoughtfully decorated so you feel on holiday from the minute you arrive.

The location is great, only a short walk from the harbour, but extremely steep with lots os steps , not an issue unless you're less mobile. The view from the balcony is just breathtaking! Minor point of feedback would be to have a full length mirror in the property. Great holiday, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and beautifully clean throughout, would definitely stay again!

Fantastic house for a family holiday located high above Brixham town and overlooking the harbour.

Plenty of space in the house with large well furnished living areas providing home from home comfort. All needs are catered for with cooking facilities, laundry and large dining and sitting room, perfect for a large family with children, in addition the 3 televisions were a useful asset in keeping the children quiet. The owner, Jay, was always readily available by phone if needed. The only negative point, and out of the owners control (although there were signs outside the property requesting space) on road parking was restricted to a "first come first served" basis with the neighbours and resulted in our cars being parked 5 to 10 minutes away on numerous occasions. This minor issue did not distract us from having a fantastic stay at Still Waters and Brixham; I would highly recommend this property. Thank-you

Still Waters has a unique character, stylishly decorated throughout with a maritime theme to remind you that you're close to the sea and a working harbour.

The four bedrooms are all of a good size and well served by three shower rooms and there is also a downstairs toilet. We stayed during a particularly hot week in May 2026, with temperatures into the low 30s so the two bedrooms at the top of the house got very warm. The galley kitchen is well-equipped with appliances and the utility room houses a washing machine and a tumble drier. One of the special features is an outside balcony area with a view over the outer reaches of the harbour. The only drawback we encountered was the lack of parking. There is free street parking outside the house, but spaces were quickly taken up and if we'd been out on an excursion during the day we would have to drop off the family at the house before driving round searching for a parking space, sometimes only finding a restricted one requiring a further move on the following morning. This inconvenience was doubled as we had two cars for the eight of us staying in the house. The walk down the hill to the town was fine, but the 125 steps getting back up was more of a trial for the less mobile in our party. That said, it could be done in 5 minutes by the more athletic.

Wonderful cottage, perfect location, lots of steps coming back and down to harbour but well worth that for the views from the balcony, shame the glass cannot be slightly lower as cannot see all around from sitting.

Nice little seaside touches to the house. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely brilliant place , would recommend a instruction manual for the Introduction hob as could not get it to work Shower room in top bedroom is good but did not drain away very well But would definitely recommend the property to anyone that needs a property that has the amount of rooms and the balcony is a great place for a evening view out to the sea

A lovely well maintained and clean house in a superb location just a short walk to the harbour.

Please be aware it is a steep downhill walk to the harbour so be prepared for the walk back up! We didn't realise dogs were only allowed on the ground floor so you can't sit outside on the top terrace enjoying a drink overlooking the harbour without leaving your dog downstairs. This arrangement might not be suitable for all dog owners. We did have a lovely time regardless and would come back again!

What a lovely house - spotlessly clean and the owners were so helpful with any queries over the use of kitchen equipment.

The house is really well placed to explore Brixham. The parking is a challenge and you have to be prepared to park away from the house but this wasn't an issue for us but may be for others with limited mobility. We will definitely be back

So close to the harbour with excellent pubs and restaurants. The house has been renovated to a high standard couldn't of wished for more from this delightful home.

Still Waters is a fantastic property looking directly down to the harbour of Brixham.

This is the cleanest holiday let I’ve ever stayed in. Every room was finished to a high standard, tastefully decorated and accessorised. Every one commented how nice the showers were to use too!

A great holiday home with a wonderful balcony view.

We were a family of six and we loved this holiday home. Very clean, a lovely holiday feel about the whole house. Great to have three shower cubicles and four toilets. The view from the balcony was very special and we look forward to staying again sometime. The owners were very helpful if needed.

Wha a lovely place with great views from the balcony the only problem was parking

We were so lucky to find this gem, we booked last minute but we were not disappointed in any way.

The house is so beautiful and has been renovated and finished to such a high standard. The interior design is gorgeous and the house had everything we needed. We loved exploring Brixham and there was more than enough for us to do for a week with grandparents and young children with us.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The sea view from the cottage was just amazing — we spent so much time simply sitting with a cuppa and watching the boats drift by. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel like you’re on holiday. The cottage was clean, cosy, and had everything we needed. It’s in a great spot too — peaceful, but only a short walk to the harbour, the beach, and a few lovely little places to eat. Breakwater Bistro quickly became our go-to for breakfast. You can tell the owners really care about the place. It just had that warm, welcoming feel from the moment we arrived. We’ll definitely be back — already missing that view!
